Regarding the Accommodation Tax in Nagano Prefecture
Starting June 1, 2026, Nagano Prefecture will introduce a new Accommodation Tax.
This system is designed to fund tourism promotion efforts, such as enhancing tourism resources and improving the environment for travelers.
Overview of the Accommodation Tax:
- Applicable to guests staying at ryokans, hotels, simple accommodations, and private lodgings within Nagano Prefecture.
- For accommodation fees of 6,000 yen or more per person per night without meals:
- For the first three years after implementation: 200 yen.
- From June 2029 onward: 300 yen.

At Amakazarisou Ryokan, this Accommodation Tax will be charged separately and settled on-site. Additionally, starting this fiscal year, a Hot Spring Tax of 100 yen per adult per night will also be charged separately.
