    The bath and Room were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were very kind.Both dinner and breakfast had just the right seasoning and portions, and everything was delicious. It would be perfect if breakfast included a small dessert bite and after-meal coffee.This was a Ryokan I would definitely like to stay at again and recommend to friends. Thank you very much to all the staff.

  • Overflowing with gratitude for the ryokan’s thoughtful hospitality!

    We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. On the table in our room, there was a congratulatory message card and a small bottle of sparkling drink. We really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. However, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the drain under the toilet in the room. A staff member tried deodorizing it, but it did not improve. They then promptly moved us to another room without any hassle. The new room had no odor and was comfortable, so we could relax and enjoy our stay.\nThey responded quickly to our requests, which made for a wonderful hotel experience. We were truly impressed.

    You can experience the charm of Japanese culture and traditional games not only by learning about them, but by actually playing, touching, and trying them for yourself.

    There are four capsule toy machines in the Facility. One of them is located in the new Facility “Wayu Yamaboshi” and contains five cork balls used for target shooting.

    Each guest will receive one Oyama-sen coin. You may choose any of the four capsule toy machines in the Facility to use it.

[Train] About 20 minutes from JR Kyoto Station on the Kosei Line. Get off at JR Kosei Line “Ogoto-Onsen Station,” then take the free Shuttle Service bus (3 minutes).

[Car] From Osaka: About 15 minutes via the Kosei Bypass from Meishin Expressway Kyoto-Higashi IC. Head toward Tsuruga on the Kosei Road, exit at Ogi-Ogoto IC, go past Ogoto-Onsen Station, turn right immediately after, then turn left at the end of the road.

From Nagoya: About 40 minutes via Biwako Ohashi Bridge from Meishin Expressway Ritto IC. From Ritto IC, cross Biwako Ohashi Bridge and head south on Route 161; turn right at Kitaogoto Intersection, turn left before the overpass in front of Ogoto-Onsen Station, then turn left at the end of the road.
