  • It was excellent.

    It was my first time visiting, and the place was very clean. I really enjoyed the resort atmosphere and had a great time. We went as a family of three and made wonderful memories.\nThere were board games and table tennis, so time flew by. We also enjoyed karaoke together as a family, which became another great memory.\nMy child said the food was amazing and that it was the best Hotel we have ever stayed at. We would love to come again.

  • The meals, the Onsen, and the pool were all excellent!

    I enjoyed my stay right after the grand opening, so this was my first time back in a year—and I was glad I returned.Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including freshly prepared items, and everything was just as delicious as before. Personally, I also really appreciated that breakfast still includes Takachiho Farm butter and yogurt from nearby (they’re delicious but not cheap), which is a big plus for me.The Onsen area was also great—spacious, with a sauna and plenty of washing stations. The private baths were clean as well, and I was grateful that the complimentary post-bath soft drink service is still available.Even though it was already September after summer vacation ended, the pool was still open, which made it especially nice to enjoy with my child.That said, even though I checked in on a weekday evening, only less convenient time slots were left for meals (dinner in four seatings and breakfast in three), and reservations for the four private baths were only available late at night. This caught me off guard.(Last time I also checked in on a weekday evening; dinner and breakfast each had two seatings, and I could reserve a private bath at my preferred time—so I didn’t expect this.)On the website, dinner is mentioned as being scheduled by time depending on crowd levels, but there is no mention that breakfast may also be timed. It would have been even better if there were clearer details about meal seating times and related guidance.If you have specific preferences for meal times or private bath use, it may be best to check in earlier.

  • Announcement: “Whole Crab Festival” Now Open

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of The Pulse Kirishima.
    This winter, we will be holding the “All-You-Can-Enjoy Crab Festival” from Tuesday, December 1, 2026 to Sunday, February 28, 2027.

    At our dinner buffet, enjoy as much snow crab as you like.
    Savor around 20 crab dishes in total—from meaty crab legs to crab-filled chawanmushi (savory egg custard), shell gratin, chirashi sushi, and more.

    Crab will also take center stage at our live kitchen. Enjoy chef-prepared specialties right before your eyes, including rich crab-broth ramen and piping-hot crab fried rice stir-fried on a teppan grill.

    This season also features another star ingredient alongside crab: yellowtail (buri), now at its peak.
    Kagoshima Prefecture is Japan’s leading producer of farmed yellowtail. We offer local favorites such as seared kurozu (black vinegar) yellowtail sushi made fresh at the live kitchen, yellowtail simmered with daikon radish (buri-daikon), crispy yellowtail cutlets, and more.

    Of course, our popular staples—such as live-kitchen Japanese black wagyu steak—will be available as usual.

    For dessert, enjoy sweet Kagoshima-grown mandarins. In addition to jelly, mousse, and roll cake varieties, a mandarin-flavored soft serve will also be available.
