  • Great value for money!

    This Hotel exceeded my expectations—wonderful in every way and an amazing value. All the staff welcomed us with great smiles, and everyone we met at check-in, at the restaurant during dinner, and at breakfast provided excellent service, making our trip to Zao truly pleasant. I was also happy to see their thoughtful attention, such as calling the elevator in advance when we were heading that way.When we entered our Room, there were tea snacks plus chilled sweets in the refrigerator—at this price, I honestly wondered if it was really okay for us to stay here. The Room was also very spacious. The Onsen was of course fantastic, and we were able to use the Onsen at affiliated Hotels as well, which was a real treat for us Onsen lovers.We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

  • The Zao Wind

    This was my second stay. Omiya, Kokusai, and Shiki— I love all of these Hotels. I visited Shiki in spring as well, and I truly love the bath in the annex. It’s a different kind of hot spring from the large public bath. The Room was clean and lovely, and the welcome sweets were delicious. Dinner was excellent across the board—and very generous in portion size, so be careful not to overeat. Above all, Tsuyahime rice was outstanding. I took dessert back to my Room. I slept soundly, and an early-morning bath was wonderful. Breakfast is buffet-style. I’m not usually a fan of buffets, but everything at this Hotel was genuinely delicious—so I ended up overeating again. Most importantly, all of the Hotel staff were truly welcoming with great smiles—it’s very soothing. They’re currently expanding the annex baths, so I’d love to come back again.
