  • The whole family was very satisfied.

    This was our first time staying here on a summer vacation trip to Fukushima. Thanks to the clear, concise explanations and easy-to-follow guidance inside the Facility, we were able to move around smoothly throughout our stay.The afternoon lounge offers light bites for adults and snacks for children, making it perfect for a short break.The Onsen lounge had peach leaf tea that seemed great for hydration, Aizu rice tea, and warm amazake as well. While the kids relaxed in the hammock, adults could truly unwind too.We were surprised by the wide selection of alcohol in the evening lounge. And every snack was delicious!Many of our favorites were also available at the shop on the first floor, which was another nice touch.Not only the front desk staff, but also those handling cleaning and restocking in the Onsen lounge were very kind and pleasant.We would love to stay here again when we travel to Fukushima.

  • I was satisfied.

    We stayed as a family.It was disappointing that the beer ran out in the lounge at night, but there was a great variety of dinner dishes and drinks, and at breakfast we could enjoy as much as we liked—whole tomatoes, blue cheese, and more. We also really enjoyed the bath and sauna, had fun playing table tennis, and loved the beautiful starry sky. Our whole family was very satisfied.We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Mercure Urabandai Resort & Spa is a Hotel located in the Bandai Highlands within Bandai-Asahi National Park, offering views of Mt. Bandai. It is conveniently situated as a base for year-round activities such as skiing, trekking, and canoeing amid the rich natural surroundings of Urabandai. Goshikinuma Ponds, formed by past volcanic eruptions, are about an 8-minute walk away. The Hotel is also an ideal base for sightseeing in Fukushima, including the historic Aizu region.
