At The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, the health and safety of our guests is our top priority. In accordance with guidelines issued by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, we have introduced enhanced cleaning procedures and reviewed our services to protect both guests and associates on an ongoing basis. As a Marriott brand Hotel, we also follow the cleaning and safety standards that are continually updated by the newly established Marriott Cleanliness Council. Internal and external experts in food and water safety, hygiene, and Hotel operations are engaged in implementing innovative operational practices. Our Commitment to Cleaning & Safety - Associates: All associates undergo temperature checks before starting work. Any associate with a fever will be asked to stay home. - Masks & gloves: All associates wear masks, and gloves are used as appropriate depending on the service provided. Guest Rooms are equipped with masks and hand sanitizer for guest use. - Public area cleaning: High-touch areas such as elevator buttons, reception counters, handrails, door handles, restrooms, furniture, fitness equipment, and more are disinfected more frequently and thoroughly than before using recommended disinfectants and procedures. - Hygiene supplies: Handwashing is one of the most effective measures against viruses. Hand sanitizer stations and disinfecting wipes are available at access points throughout the Hotel for guest use. - Guest Rooms: We maintain rigorous cleaning at all times. Guest Rooms are thoroughly cleaned using enhanced standards and techniques across high-touch areas including phones; remote controls; air-conditioning switches; door handles; hair dryers; hangers; coffee machines; minibars; table surfaces; light switches; and more. In addition, while you are staying in your Room during your visit (occupied), housekeeping will refrain from entering. Hotel Services - Housekeeping service & minibar replenishment: Room cleaning (while you are out), minibar replenishment, and turndown service are normally provided during your absence from the Room; however, we will tailor services to your preferences—please let us know at any time. - Room Service: We maintain strict hygiene control for Room Service delivery. Associates will wear masks (and gloves) when setting up your order in your Room if requested or required by service style/operation policy). Upon request، we can also avoid entering your Room by delivering items outside your door so you may take them from the cart yourself without direct contact with staff members inside). - Restaurants / bars / lounge areas): In accordance with Tokyo Metropolitan Government guidelines some outlets operate reduced hours).
