The London EDITION

Born from a partnership with Mori Trust, The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon was created through a collaboration between Ian Schrager and world-renowned architect and designer Kengo Kuma, blending Japan’s unique history and traditions into an open, contemporary space that captures the spirit of the times. Lobby Bar
The hotel offers two restaurants: “The Blue Room,” an all-day dining venue with panoramic views of Tokyo Tower, serving everything from breakfast to dinner; and “The Jade Room + Garden Terrace,” a specialty restaurant produced by British Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, featuring rare-for-high-floors outdoor terrace seating and private dining rooms. The hotel also features two bars: the “Lobby Bar,” an open yet private adults’ social space gently divided by greenery, and “Gold Bar at EDITION,” a cocktail bar adding a new chapter to Tokyo’s mixology scene.
The “EDITION” signature Black Tea scent, enjoyed throughout the Hotel’s spaces and amenities, is created by Le Labo, a vegan slow-perfumery fragrance house that does not conduct animal testing. Hand-blending the finest ingredients with care to craft each fragrance, Le Labo is a beloved brand not only in New York but around the world. At the reception of The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, you can also purchase Le Labo amenities and candles. Travel kits can be personalized with your name—perfect as a treat for yourself, a keepsake from your stay, or a gift for someone special.
The EDITION promotes a plastic-free approach: Hotel room keys and amenities such as toothbrushes and hairbrushes are made from fast-renewable bamboo and individually wrapped in stone paper, which uses no environmentally harmful or unsustainable wood. Water in Tetra Top cartons is a new eco-conscious alternative to plastic bottles; the carton is made mainly from renewable resources, and the cap is made from sugarcane with lower CO2 emissions. Bathroom amenities are provided in refillable bottles for recycling, and non-woven laundry bags are used to reduce single-use plastics as much as possible. In addition, products used at “The Spa at The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon” include plant-based organic cosmetics by Absolution, incorporating brands that consider animal welfare and the global environment.
