  • The hot spring was as wonderful as ever.

    It had been a very long time since my last visit. The warm, homey atmosphere was just the same, and the Onsen water was as wonderful as ever. Lately I’ve mostly stayed at Accommodations with an Onsen in the Room, but I was reminded again how great Yunohana is—unchanged and truly special. I’ll be back again. The meals were delicious too.

  • Modern resort Ryokan

    The price was just right, and I wanted to enjoy the sulfur hot spring, so I stayed here. Unfortunately it was rainy and the fog made everything pure white that day, but it felt even more magical, and the courtyard was beautifully lit up. The Facility and Room have many glass surfaces, giving them a modern and clean feel. Our Room was a corner room, and it was spacious enough for a family of four to relax comfortably. The open-air sulfur bath had soft water with a gentle scent. It was a little on the cooler side, but I could soak slowly while listening to insects chirping—highly recommended. The staff were courteous as you would expect from Prince Hotel, which left a great impression. The meals weren’t overly extravagant, but they were well prepared and very enjoyable. With many Accommodations in Hakone being expensive, I’d like to visit again as this is an Accommodation with excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
