■ About the in-room open-air bath... The in-room open-air bath is supplied from the faucet with both “hot spring water (heated)” and “lukewarm spring water (lower source temperature).” This allows you to enjoy 100% natural Onsen water.
■ Preparing your bath... For the in-room bath, guests are asked to fill the tub and adjust the temperature themselves. Filling time is approximately within 1 hour. *Tub size varies depending on the Room.
■ Type of bathtub... “Hana-no-Ma,” “Tori-no-Ma,” and “Kaze-no-Ma” feature custom-made Shigaraki-yaki ceramic tubs. All other guest Rooms have wooden tubs made from hiba wood.
*The sauna within our property is exclusively for use with the rooftop private open-air bath, “Yumezora-no-Yu.” It is not available for general use.

■ Parking
To help prevent issues (vehicle damage, accidents, etc.), guests are generally asked to move their own vehicles. Please note that the area in front of the entrance is a drop-off zone and, in principle, parking is not permitted there. We cannot accept any responsibility for accidents, theft, or other trouble in the parking area.
■ Luggage handling by staff
To help prevent issues (damage or loss of luggage, etc.), we generally do not carry or transport luggage. If you have many items and need assistance, please contact the front desk staff. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for damage or loss even when staff assist with carrying luggage. Also, assistance may take some time depending on circumstances.
■ Escort to your Room
If you would like guidance to your Room, please contact the front desk staff. Please note that it may take some time before we can escort you. Thank you for your understanding.
■ Cobwebs and insects inside the Accommodation
Our Accommodation is surrounded by mountains and located in nature with a mountain stream and two large waterfalls nearby; therefore insects may enter the building depending on the season. Cobwebs are removed during cleaning; however, spiders can build new webs within a few hours, so webs may appear after check-in as well. As our building is along a cliffside, window cleaning and similar work at height is limited to trained staff only. If insects enter your Room and it concerns you, our staff will come to remove them. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
■ Entering guest Rooms
We consider guest Rooms private spaces and make every effort not to disturb guests during their stay. For this reason, attendants/management will not visit Rooms for greetings or tea service (welcome tea).
■ Check your Plan / Reservation details
Please be sure to confirm the details of your Plan in advance. Issues have occurred when guests did not fully understand what was included in their Plan(s). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
■ Large public bath / open-air bath usage rules
Guests with tattoos are asked not to use our baths (including large public baths/open-air baths). Please also refrain from bringing mobile phones or cameras into bathing areas under any circumstances. If these rules are not followed, we may refuse use of the baths/facilities accordingly.Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any related trouble arising from non-compliance with these rules..
■ Hair dye / hair coloring
Hair dyeing/coloring is prohibited in the large public bath,, private baths,,and bathroom(s) inside guest Rooms.. If this rule is violated,,you will be charged restoration costs as well as compensation for damages.. Thank you foryour understanding..
■ Dinner / breakfast times
When arriving at dining venue,,we will seat guests sequentially once preparations are complete.. Seating order/timing may vary slightly depending on conditions with other guests.. You may also need wait at venue.. Thankyouforyourunderstanding..
■ Taking amenities/items home
Please do take items home except disposable amenities intended single-useand towels providedforuse during stay.

■ Seasonality pricing
Rates vary by seasonality; room rates change accordingly.

■ Customer harassment
Customer harassment refers nuisance behavior such violence abusive language malicious complaints.Currently measures being taken nationwide including Ministry Health Labour Welfare.
Examples include verbal abuse,repeating same complaint repeatedly,intimidating/preachy attitude retaliatory online posts threats/coercion,long-time detention,etc.We aim protect safety peace mind of our staff while receiving support legal experts relevant authorities.We ask understanding cooperation.
■ Amendments Ryokan Business Act
As of Dec 13 2023,Ryokan Business Act amended,and we may refuse accommodation under following cases:
1) Repeatedly demanding excessive services compared other guests,such unjust discounts/unjust compensation/unjust Room upgrades/unjust late check-out/unjust early check-in/Shuttle Service not included contract,etc.
2) Repeatedly demanding no other guests placed above/below/left/right adjacent rooms.
3) Repeatedly demanding only specific person handle serviceor demanding certain personnot work.
4) Repeatedly demanding apologies lacking social appropriateness such kneeling/bowing deeply (dogeza).
5) Being heavily intoxicated repeatedly requesting long-term care/assistance.
6) In person/by phone/email etc.,over long periodsor while scolding,repeated making unreasonable demands.
7) Repeated using problematic methods such violence abusive language when making demands.
*Includes physical attacks(assault/injury),psychological attacks(threats/slander/defamation/insults/verbal abuse),demands dogeza,etc.

The open-air baths attached guest Rooms use either heated natural hot spring wateror lukewarm natural hot spring water..
Upon arrival,the tub generally empty.If wish bathe,you must fill tub yourself starting about 30 minutes beforehand..
Some Rooms may already filled,but please adjust/fill yourself ensure appropriate temperature condition..
Also,this Accommodation does use circulation system,making it difficult maintain ideal temperature consistently; thankyouforunderstanding cooperation..
Due nature open-air bath leaves insects etc.may enter.Please understand beforehand..
