Disappointed by the noise from the Facility

This was my first time staying at the Guest House, though I have used the spa before. At that time, it was adults-only and I could relax, but this time families with small children were also using it, which ruined the image of a quiet adult Facility and left me disappointed. If you are promoting it as a Facility attached to the Guest House, it may be better to limit children’s use. I also visited the children’s play land, but it felt somewhat half-baked and not very appealing; I felt it would be more worthwhile to turn that area back into a pool as before.

We stayed here because children are allowed to use the spa. We stayed in a first-floor Room, but we were concerned about a musty smell and damp bedding... It was disappointing because everything else was good.

    Impressions After the Renovation

I have been staying here since shortly after the Facility opened, but I heard the operating company changed last autumn, so I visited again thinking things might have settled down a bit. There are now more “fun and playful” Facilities, and the operator’s intentions came through clearly. However, my impression was that the service still has room for improvement. At dinner, my spouse and I ordered two different types of white wine. The female staff member served them by name, so when I asked, “Um, which one is this?”, she replied, “The cheaper one.” Since she hadn’t confirmed which was cheaper either, I felt it would have been smarter to distinguish them by grape variety—such as “This is the Chardonnay.” At breakfast we were served by a male staff member; perhaps he was nervous, but he was breathing through his mouth, and each time he brought food his breathing right next to my ear really bothered me. Overall, the seasoning of the food has become stronger than before. Preferences may vary, but by the end of the meal it felt like a salty taste lingered in my mouth. The fresh fish and soup were delicious. The Facility has been kept clean and well maintained as before. Because it is such a wonderful Facility and space, I sincerely hope the service will catch up.
