When I stayed in the Classic two years ago, I knew that next time I definitely wanted to stay in the Bay Suite. They showed me to my Room well before check-in time, which gave me plenty of time to enjoy the bath and lounge before dinner. The dinner I had been looking forward to was outstanding—I was truly impressed by the many wonderful dishes. It was also a thoughtful touch, rarely seen elsewhere, for the executive chef to come and greet us. For breakfast, wanting even more to dine at La Mer again, I chose the Western-style option and was able to savor it slowly while looking out over Ago Bay, which we couldn’t see at dinner after dark. Being able to spend so much time relaxing in my Room and in the lounge throughout my stay left me feeling completely satisfied as I headed home.
