Since opening in 1951, we have welcomed many distinguished guests, including the Emperor Showa, from the very beginning. Set on an expansive estate that includes “The Classic” and “The Club,” designed by renowned Showa-era architect Togo Murano, the Hotel has continued to mark time at a gentle pace, protected by the nature of Ise-Shima National Park. The Room was spacious and spotless, with a stunning view of Ago Bay. The amenities were by Mikimoto, and you could really feel the attention to detail. We also enjoyed wonderful views from the lounge and the observation deck.The meals were delicious, the hospitality was excellent, and there was so much to see in the building—it made for a truly enjoyable stay.We would definitely love to return.
I stayed for one night on September 2, and there were many staff members, which seemed to ensure attentive service throughout.In particular, the service from the lounge staff at the Bay Suite and the breakfast restaurant staff was excellent, truly reflecting the “class” of a classic Hotel.
