This Resort Hotel offers various attractions such as sightseeing, historical site tours, and sports, centered around the magnificent Lake Biwa spread out before you.
Yukata were provided. If possible, I would have appreciated having loungewear in the Room as well. Breakfast was very disappointing, as most items seemed to be frozen foods that were simply reheated. The rice, however, was cooked in a pot and was very delicious. The staff member on the floor had a pleasant smile.
ミーやん 3/16/2026You can watch the sunrise over Lake Biwa from the opposite shore and enjoy a walk on the sandy beach, creating wonderful memories. I think it's an excellent location. The stay included breakfast and dinner, offering great value for money. The dinner was a Japanese course meal with excellent taste. The Room was spacious as we chose a family room, and we were satisfied with its unique log house-style layout. It was conveniently close to Imazu Port, where you can take a ferry to Chikubu Island.

Introduction of the Accommodation
A relaxing base to enjoy the charm of Northern Lake Biwa.
(Approximately 20 minutes by ferry from the Hotel) A sacred island surrounded by greenery, floating on the emerald blue surface of the lake. Known as Chikubu Island's reflection, it is counted among the Eight Views of Lake Biwa and is a valuable island preserving numerous national treasures and important cultural properties.
(Approximately 10 minutes by car from the Hotel) In November 1994, it was selected as one of the "New 100 Street Tree Views of Japan" by the Yomiuri Shimbun, attracting public attention. Many people visit because it is said to resemble the tree-lined road in "Winter Sonata," which sparked the Korean Wave in 2004.
The Makino Sunny Beach in front of the Hotel boasts top-tier water quality in Northern Lake Biwa and has been selected as one of the 100 best beaches.
(About 5 minutes by car from the Hotel) The scenic Kaizu Osaki reef, representing Oku Biwako and praised in the Eight Views of Lake Biwa. In spring, a 4km-long cherry blossom tunnel of 600 Somei Yoshino trees lines the lakeside road. Additionally, from Osaki Temple, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Biwa.

An interior based on a log house theme. The family room features wooden flooring, incorporating the charm of wood abundantly into the guest rooms, creating a natural and serene ambiance. From the lake-facing guest rooms, you can enjoy the lake view through the picture windows.
