    The kaiseki cuisine on “Kamishima” is excellent.

    Thank you for the room upgrade. Even though it was a weekday, there were families with children, so the pool was lively. The hot springs were relaxing, and the water was excellent. For dinner at “Kashima,” we started with a seasonal corn soup, followed by delicious salt-grilled ayu and hamo sukiyaki; the Kumano beef was also very tender. The chestnut rice was great as well. The homemade ice cream for dessert at the end was outstanding. I’m looking forward to my next stay. Breakfast is the usual buffet—be careful not to overeat.

    It was a bit lively ...

    It was a bit lively because Yomiuri TV was filming that day, but as always, the food was delicious and we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen. The buffet is nice too, but the meals at “Kamishima” are also excellent, so I think they could promote this more. We’ll probably choose this again next time.\nI also feel grateful for the small souvenir we received as a participation gift from the filming. We were already happy to have gained another memorable moment—thank you.

    Exceptional hospitality and exquisite kaiseki cuisine!

    In Shirahama, we visited a total of six Hotels and Ryokans, but the hospitality in Japanese cuisine here was unparalleled. During our meal, when my elderly mother felt unwell, the attentive care provided was truly remarkable and deeply appreciated. While many may associate Karakami Kanko with buffets, the delicacy, exquisite flavors, and excellent cost performance of their kaiseki cuisine were outstanding. We will definitely complete the Reservation again with a kaiseki cuisine Plan and sincerely hope that this level of quality is maintained.
