  • I was very satisfied!

    I stay here around the same time every year. This year again, I was able to truly relax and feel refreshed. The staff were attentive, and everyone was wonderful. There are more foreign attendants now, but their Japanese is excellent, and I imagine they are well received by international guests as well.I use a wheelchair, and the considerate support provided was just right, making my stay even more comfortable. Having an Onsen in the Room that I can enjoy anytime is also fantastic. I would love to come back again for a relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

  • Escape the everyday

    I stayed from Friday to Saturday when it was uncertain whether two typhoons would hit the Kanto area directly. It was my first visit in several years, and the hospitality was as wonderful as ever. I brought my elderly mother for the first time, and she was truly impressed, saying she had never stayed anywhere like this before. The meals were delicious, but there was so much that we couldn’t finish everything, which I regret. Next time, I’d like to visit during the autumn foliage season.

Edo Sumi Nagashi: Ink is poured onto earthen walls or cedar boards and directly imprinted.
The curved corridor, approximately 8 meters high, creates a space that feels like walking in nature.
Kumiko Shoji: Wooden furniture crafted using Hinoki, Sugi, and Keyaki by artisans in Niigata.

The design of Bettei Senjuan

Inside the facility, there are various designs crafted by skilled artisans, including a glass-curved corridor illuminated fantastically at night, ceilings in the dining area featuring the Edo Suminagashi technique, plaster and Kyoto earthen walls, handmade special washi paper at the entrance, stainless steel tatami mats, and Kumiko shoji screens at the dining area entrance.
