Although we stayed for only one night, it was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful services exactly where we hoped they would be.We could feel the attention to detail everywhere—an all-inclusive in-Room minibar, three kinds of cold drinks prepared at the large public bath, an impressive umeshu collection with 100 varieties (a paradise for umeshu lovers like us), and grilled fish for the Japanese breakfast that you can choose from three options.All of the staff were very cheerful and the overall service quality was excellent. In particular, we were truly moved by the attentive hospitality of the foreign male staff member who took care of us at dinner. We were also surprised by how fluent his Japanese was.Dinner was delicious as well, and we appreciated the focus on local ingredients. The Senju hot pot made with Masuda beef was wonderfully tender and rich.From check-in to check-out, we spent a genuinely relaxing time—simply gazing at the view from our Room in the rain and enjoying forest bathing in a private setting. It was an ideal vacation that helped us forget everyday life and feel refreshed both physically and mentally.If I may mention one thing, incense, fragrant olive flower arrangements, and stick diffusers were placed throughout the building. Even though we came to enjoy such clean air in this area, the scent felt a bit too strong. While you promote sustainability as an Accommodation, it felt somewhat contradictory—and disappointing—that even items like shampoo, body soap, and towels are fragranced.Some guests may enjoy fragrance, but others are sensitive to it as well; I would appreciate it if you could take this into consideration going forward.Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Although we were concerned about traveling during the Obon season and with unstable weather, we arrived safely with no issues on the roads. The welcome was attentive as always, and the familiar atmosphere made us feel at ease. The Room was clean, and the open-air bath was at a comfortable temperature, allowing us to relax. The meals featured many locally sourced ingredients, were perfectly portioned, and truly delicious. We had another wonderful stay and will visit again.
