As the name "Densho Sen-nen" suggests, this accommodation exudes the breath of ancient times. The "Natori no Miyu," a treasured hot spring flowing since the Asuka period, is a family heirloom of Sakan. While steadfastly preserving its tradition, this modern Japanese-style architecture offers an ideal blend of comfort and tranquility. During the Tokugawa era, Sakan flourished as a hot spring associated with Lord Masamune, and its refined hospitality honed by history continues to be passed down. This traditional accommodation harmonizes elegant and delicate charm with modern hotel functionality.
It was our first stay in a while, with seven family members including our grandchildren.As it was a long weekend, we expected it to be crowded, but we were still able to relax and had a wonderful time.Dinner was very filling and we were very satisfied.However, at the end of the meal we wanted to have coffee or tea, but it was quite crowded and took a long time, which was disappointing.We hope you can add more self-service machines for coffee and tea.We would like to visit again.
セブンジイジ 9/26/2026Visiting Sendai for the first time in 20 years, I chose to stay at Sakan again, a place full of fond memories.\nThe Onsen and Facility areas have been beautifully renovated, and amenities like ReFa hair dryers made the stay extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the half-buffet. The beef tongue steak and sea urchin I selected as the main dishes were outstanding—being able to enjoy both meat and seafood so luxuriously left me completely satisfied. The buffet also offered a wide variety of options, with many live-kitchen stations, which made it wonderful to enjoy freshly prepared dishes. There was also an excellent selection of drinks and desserts, keeping me excited throughout.\nIt had been 20 years since my last visit, but it turned into an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to return!

All 173 guest rooms are spaciously designed, offering a luxurious space for an extraordinary stay. The Hitenkan building features rooms along the Natori River, where you can enjoy the soothing sound of the stream and the scenic views of Akiu's countryside.
