Direct underground access to Sapporo Station and Odori Subway Station via the “Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway.” Minimize inconvenience from unfamiliar routes or bad weather, and enjoy a comfortable base for events and sightseeing. ■ Access to the Hotel ■ Comfortable access even in bad weather via direct underground connection to JR Sapporo Station and Odori Subway Station. From JR Sapporo Station South Exit, go down to B1 Head toward the Namboku Line ticket gates, pass through on the right side of the gates, Proceed along the “Sapporo Ekimae Underground Walkway,” There is an exclusive entrance for Sapporo Grand Hotel next to Exit 8 (stairs) — about a 10-minute walk. * If you use the street-level elevator at Exit 8, you will come out right in front of the Hotel. * Please note this is different from Exit 8 at Sapporo Subway Station.     It was great after all.

    I stayed here once quite a while ago, and I’d been hoping to return the next time I came to Sapporo. As expected, it was great again. The main building is wonderful. The elevator area, corridors, Room—even the clock—had a lovely classic atmosphere. And the elevators arrive quickly! One thing: although I was shown to my Room, it was my first time having to carry my own luggage (it wasn’t much, but other hotels usually help). The location is convenient, and breakfast was delicious—there was soup curry, and even apple pie. Also, it was disappointing that all the hairdryer settings had the same airflow strength. I wanted to relax in the Room longer, but I’ll visit again next time.
