All-day dining “Compass” is a refined space designed with the concept of a Western-style residence in Yokohama Yamate, set on a hill overlooking Yokohama’s port town. Step through the striking brick entrance and you’ll find an open performance counter inspired by a kitchen, along with areas reminiscent of a family living room. Start your day with Compass’s signature breakfast, featuring around 80 Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. Enjoy our “Kanagawa Breakfast,” made with carefully selected local ingredients such as Kanagawa-produced eggs and rice, plus regional specialties.     The best thing is the great location.

    I stayed during an approaching typhoon, and the direct connection to the station was extremely helpful. However, I couldn’t find clear guidance signs from Yokohama Station and it took a bit of time. In the lobby there are counters for the front desk and bell desk, but there is no signage so it’s hard to tell. Are there no signs like “This way to the station” or “Restrooms this way”? Overall, my impression was that it’s unfriendly when things are simply unclear. Regarding the in-Room bathroom: in my Room, the shower booth and bathtub were separate. The bathtub had a shower, but there was no curtain, so I felt it would get everything wet and couldn’t use it. As for breakfast, perhaps due to the layout or because it gets crowded, it was hard to pick up items, but the taste and menu selection were good. This may be a slightly harsh Review, but please let me stay again.

    Conveniently located in front of the station

    Conveniently located right next to Yokohama Station. The front desk staff provided a pleasant and friendly service. The room was clean and satisfactory. I would consider staying here again if I need accommodation near Yokohama Station.
