I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. I plan to give her another trip as a gift once more within this year, and I would appreciate your kind support when that time comes.

We stayed here on a three-generation family trip. They kindly lent a wheelchair to my mother, who has difficulty walking, and the staff member in charge took wonderful care of us. Our whole family became a fan of them. (Thank you very much.) The hospitality was outstanding, and the baths were very clean. We were able to relax at our own pace. Every dish was delicious, and because meals were served in our room or in private dining rooms, we hardly ran into other guests inside the property. It was quiet and very comfortable. The Scandinavian chairs, reading materials, and small decorative items placed throughout the building were lovely as well—the sense of style was truly exceptional. It’s an inn that makes you want to come back. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The moment I stepped into the inn, a wonderful fragrance greeted me and I felt excited right away. With large windows and plenty of greenery, it’s a lovely space. The room was very clean, and because there are no partitions, it felt even more spacious than expected. I have many dietary restrictions and there are items I can’t eat in kaiseki cuisine, but they were very accommodating, so I was able to enjoy everything deliciously until the end. I also enjoyed the hot springs many times, which helped melt away my daily fatigue. Thank you very much.

We were satisfied with everything—the free drinks, dinner, and breakfast. There were also five types of private open-air baths, and the instructions were easy to understand, which was wonderful. Most of the staff are from overseas, but everyone spoke Japanese very well, so we had no trouble at all and enjoyed a comfortable stay thanks to their polite service.

They upgraded our Room beyond what we had reserved, and we unexpectedly got to stay in a 120 m² suite. The suite with a spacious ocean-view balcony was simply breathtaking! The blue-themed interior was beautiful as well, and we enjoyed a truly luxurious stay. The restaurant food was excellent, and the freshly fried horse mackerel at the live kitchen and the roast beef really lived up to expectations. At check-in, they asked about the purpose of our trip; when we told them it was for our wedding anniversary, they surprised us with an anniversary dessert plate—an unforgettable Hotel stay from start to finish. They also offer Shuttle Service, so even without a car we were able to get there without any trouble. We would love to return.

First, every meal was beautifully presented and delicious, and the tableware was lovely. The timing of each course was perfect. The dessert at the end of dinner was also excellent, and coffee was served after breakfast. The in-room bath was spacious, and the toilet (Panasonic Arauno) was very comfortable. There are two large bedrooms with a living room in between, making it an ideal layout for two families or two groups traveling together—I highly recommend it. The room features a beautiful coffered ceiling like those at Kiunkaku, and overlooks a stone garden with a small waterfall. It truly felt like an Atami-style stay. The warm smiles of the young attendant were also very soothing.

We stayed in the Karaku Room. As we were traveling with my elderly parents and needed some assistance, I was a little anxious before our stay. I consulted with the property in advance, and every member of staff responded warmly and attentively, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our trip. The ocean view from our room was breathtakingly beautiful, and at night we could see countless stars—an unforgettable sight. From the proprietress’s welcome matcha tea and sweets to each staff member’s thoughtful care and kind words, we felt genuine hospitality throughout. Every dish was truly delicious, and my parents finished everything to the last bite. In addition, the manager—who is also a sommelier—carefully listened to our preferences and selected a glass that was exactly what we were looking for. It paired wonderfully with the meal and made dinner even more special. Most of all, what stays with me is my parents’ happy smiles. When traveling with elderly parents, being able to spend time with peace of mind is essential. At Karaku, we received not only that sense of comfort but also time in which our whole family could feel truly happy. Seeing my parents smile made me think from the bottom of my heart, “I’m so glad we were all able to come here together.” Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and above all, genuine warmth from people. This time spent together as a family has become an irreplaceable memory we will never forget. I am deeply grateful that I could share such a wonderful time here with my parents. It was a truly outstanding inn—one we would love to visit again. To all the staff: thank you very much for giving our family memories we will never forget.

This was my first stay at Fufu, and I arrived with high expectations—and I was very satisfied from the warm welcome to the send-off. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the Onsen was wonderfully relaxing. I also appreciated having drinks available throughout the property. The service was polite yet friendly, which made it especially pleasant. Above all, the dining was outstanding. Both the teppanyaki dinner and breakfast were high quality, and after dinner I found myself looking up which Fufu to visit next. I would love to stay at another location as well.

I traveled with my elderly parents and my daughter. The hotel had very high ratings when I researched it beforehand, so we arrived with high expectations. It truly was an outstanding hotel that more than lived up to them. We were moved by the panoramic ocean view from our room. Everything was spotless and very clean. For dinner, we chose the seasonal kaiseki course; the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and we enjoyed a relaxed evening savoring delicious dishes at our own pace. Each item was carefully prepared—beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. My daughter and parents were especially impressed by the toro-taku. My parents are older and have weak teeth, but the wagyu steak was so tender that they could enjoy it without any trouble. They usually don’t eat much, yet they finished everything, which really surprised me. We used the large public bath, and the view from there was also incredible. The next morning, I woke up early with my parents and watched the sunrise from our room’s terrace; seeing how moved my father was made me feel deeply emotional as well. Breakfast was a buffet with Japanese and Western options plus a few Chinese dishes, so everyone could choose what they liked—we enjoyed it very much. The freshly made fluffy omelet and freshly squeezed orange juice were especially delicious. After check-out, the staff kindly assisted us all the way to the station, for which we are very grateful. I was able to give my parents a wonderful trip full of great memories. Thank you very much! We will definitely return again.

This was my second stay this year, and I visited with my mother. My mother is nearing her 88th birthday, but she still has a great appetite and finished everything, even having seconds from the rice tub. I visited long ago with my mother and grandmother as well, so I feel truly happy to have an Accommodation we can return to across three generations—my grandmother, my mother, and me. Unfortunately it rained this time, but thanks to that the signature stones and garden trees were gently wet, letting us enjoy a different kind of beautiful scenery than usual. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

The in-room hot spring bath with free-flowing source water was wonderful. The view from the room was also amazing. I stayed in and worked as part of my job, and it went very smoothly. Thank you very much. By the way, the meat at dinner was incredible—I’ve never had meat that delicious before. Thank you again.

I stayed here for the first time with my mother. The front desk had a calm atmosphere, and the cleanliness throughout the entire Facility—including our Room and the large public bath—was excellent. Above all, both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The staff service was also flawless. My mother and I travel to many places, but this was such a wonderful Ryokan that we both agreed we would love to stay again.

Blessed with beautiful weather, we had a wonderful stay in an elegant sukiya-style setting. The welcome drink—Alain Milliat juice—was so delicious that we couldn’t resist having a second glass. The hotel’s signature lemon cake was also excellent, and we bought one as a souvenir. From both the room and the dining area, we enjoyed expansive ocean views stretching out to Hatsushima and Izu Oshima, creating a wonderfully open atmosphere. Dining while taking in such magnificent scenery was truly exceptional. My husband enjoyed the wine pairing, and thanks to the staff kindly adjusting my course portions to be smaller, I was able to savor every dish through to the end. They also packed the final dessert for takeaway in an adorable box, which was a thoughtful touch. The bath in our room felt like an open-air bath when we opened the window; with perfect weather, it was incredibly relaxing. With stunning views, delicious cuisine, and attentive hospitality throughout, it was a memorable stay that left us feeling refreshed. We would love to visit again.

This was my first stay, and since the Accommodation is on a hill, the views were wonderful. The large public bath was spacious enough to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. I was also happy that each guest was provided with two thick face towels and two thick bath towels. I only had breakfast, but there was a good variety and it was delicious. The Shuttle Service bus schedule and the fact that no Reservation was required made it very convenient overall. Considering the value for money, this is an excellent Accommodation that I would like to visit again.

Although we arrived early, the staff kindly handled our check-in. Thanks to having some extra time, we were able to relax on the scenic terrace in front of the front desk and on the rooftop terrace above it. The autumn breeze was wonderfully refreshing, and the complimentary welcome drink was delicious—making for a truly high-quality experience. After that, we visited the baths and worked up a sweat in the open-air bath and sauna. The bathing area is compact, but it’s thoughtfully designed to let in fresh air, which felt great. Before dinner, we enjoyed Halloween quizzes and games; answering the quiz even came with sweets, which made nice souvenirs for our grandchild. Dinner was served in a fully private room with views of the night scenery outside, where we enjoyed a kaiseki meal. Both the quality and portion size were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish. We were also lucky with beautiful weather throughout our stay, and morning and evening views of clear autumn skies from the hilltop were simply stunning. Thank you all very much for your attentive hospitality.

We arrived a little early, but relaxed in the lobby while enjoying shaved ice. That kind thoughtfulness made us very happy. This is an old but truly lovely Hotel, quietly nestled in the mountains of Atami. The soft, high-quality Onsen is outstanding. The building does show its age, and there is also an area where the owner lives, but that is more than made up for by the wonderful Onsen and meals. Fresh sashimi. Delicious fresh salmon roe. Steak and sukiyaki, and a great variety of desserts, fruit, and ice cream—everything was very satisfying. The amenities are plentiful as well—both in the Room and at the large public bath: DHC face & hand soap, gel lotion, cleansing oil, body & hand milk, milky gel, and hair milk, plus KOSE shampoo, conditioner, and body soap— an excellent selection. There is also a pool that can be used year-round, which is great for children. It really felt like what you would expect from Livemax. Considering how travel costs have risen in recent years, this resort offers excellent value for money. Many of the staff are from overseas, but they are well trained so we felt at ease and very comfortable throughout our stay. Whenever we want good hot springs water or delicious sashimi again, we will come back to stay here. I would highly recommend this very comfortable Hotel to many people. This was our first stay. My husband has an illness and limited mobility, but our family of four was well taken care of with a wheelchair. The Hotel was very clean throughout, and all the staff were kind—truly a wonderful Hotel. We were very satisfied with both the room and the private open-air bath, and the large public bath was excellent! However, since our room was on a lower floor, we sometimes made eye contact with construction workers in the building right in front of us, which was a bit uncomfortable... Next time, we hope to stay on a higher floor. It’s a Hotel that makes you want to come back again soon! Thank you for your hospitality.

The open-air bath was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the delicious meals. It’s a small, simple inn without a lobby or shop, so we were able to relax in a very calm atmosphere. Once you enter and take off your shoes, everything is tatami, making it easy to walk around. We had in-room dining during our stay, so aside from going to the baths we didn’t need to leave the room at all—which made it even easier to spend a quiet, leisurely time.

We stayed for one night on July 4–5. This time, six of us (three couples in our 70s) stayed in three Rooms, each with a private open-air bath. To be honest, two of my friends’ husbands have never wanted to use large public baths on our past trips. So this time we splurged on Rooms with open-air baths—and those husbands were thrilled and apparently bathed many times. Everyone agreed it was excellent. The front desk staff were polite and clear, and the foreign staff member who assisted with meals spoke Japanese very well. We even had a bit of personal conversation, and they answered earnestly, making mealtime very enjoyable. Of course, the food itself was also outstanding: many small dishes and a wide variety of carefully prepared items—again, everyone was completely satisfied. At checkout we passed several housekeeping staff members, and every one of them greeted us properly, so we left feeling great. It was quiet, with only the sound of the nearby river; I almost fell asleep in the open-air bath. The price didn’t feel expensive at all. This turned into a long Review, but there’s no doubt we’ll want to come again.
