At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. I finally visited this long-awaited Hotel for the first time. I called on the day of arrival and requested Shuttle Service to Chokoku-no-Mori Station. Because the number of Rooms is limited, neither the dining areas nor the Onsen ever felt crowded, and I was able to relax at a very leisurely pace. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was outstanding, making it a truly meaningful stay. The cocktail pairing at dinner was a wonderful experience, with cocktails I would not normally order myself. Brunch also offered a wide variety of options, and it was a delight to enjoy champagne and wine from the morning. I felt this Accommodation is easy to use even for solo travelers. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I think both the Room and the Hotel were thoroughly cleaned; everything was very spotless. Perhaps because my Room was on the top floor, the view was wonderful, and I found myself looking outside again and again. The layout also felt spacious—there was plenty of room even with my suitcase opened on the floor, and I really appreciated having a table-and-chair set as well. The only downside was the shower curtain. Whether it was too short or not wide enough, the floor ended up getting wet all three times (and I’m usually careful when showering). From another perspective, though, the service from an experienced female front desk staff member was excellent. She kindly responded to my request for “a place within a 15-minute walk where I can drink quietly alone and enjoy good tuna,” and explained how to get there in a very thoughtful way. Thanks to her, I got there without getting lost—and it turned out to be the best tuna I’ve ever had. I was also able to relax and take my time. A Hotel with staff who provide such attentive service will surely help younger employees grow as well (sorry if that sounds presumptuous). It’s also a big plus that there is a restaurant, a 24-hour convenience store, and a bakery on the first floor of the building where the Hotel is located. All in all, I had a very pleasant stay.

It was a Hotel with an outstanding view and location overlooking Lake Biwa. We made a Reservation for two twin Rooms for our family, and they even connected the two Rooms internally—service beyond what we expected. Although there are limited hours of use, the panoramic bath on the 7th floor was also great. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we had a very pleasant stay.

I’ve stayed at quite a few Hotels and Ryokans across the whole country, and this place was truly excellent—service, Facilities, and the Room were all outstanding! They handled a last-minute surprise request flexibly, which I really appreciated. As for the meals, everything served was delicious. That said, I would have liked to see a few more luxurious options. 5 stars!

I was able to relax in a clean, comfortable, and pleasantly spacious Room that was easy to use. Because it was a bit foggy, we couldn’t see much of the Kanto Plain, but we still enjoyed the in-room open-air Onsen bath. We usually eat dinner early, and we weren’t kept waiting—one delicious dish after another was served at just the right pace, with plenty of variety, and we were completely satisfied. It was my first time in Tsukuba, but it’s close to Tokyo, and we were able to see beautiful flowers at the perfect time—azaleas and mountain wisteria in bloom, and nemophila at full peak. I would definitely like to stop by again when I visit Tsukuba. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. We stayed as a couple. We made our Reservation one week before our stay, and the only Room available came with a semi-open-air bath. The Room was very clean and spacious, facing the ocean—absolutely wonderful. The beach is right in front of the Hotel, and it felt like a private beach; we could take a walk at sunset and really enjoy the resort atmosphere. Not only was the in-room semi-open-air bath great, but the large public bath with an open-air bath was also very spacious, so we could relax and enjoy it at our leisure. For dinner, since we don’t eat much, we chose the standard course and it was more than enough. It seemed you could also order extras such as golden eye snapper, abalone, and spiny lobster. Breakfast was entirely self-service, and even if you wanted to grill dried fish (aji), you had to go get items like a pot and solid fuel yourself, which felt a bit inconvenient. Alcohol was free during dinner, which was excellent; however, there were no vending machines inside the Hotel for other times, so having to go out to a convenience store to buy drinks was disappointing. Considering the Facility and overall offering, it felt like good value for money; overall satisfaction was high, and we would like to stay again.

Both the facilities and the staff were top-class—an outstanding Hotel. Every staff member’s dedication and politeness came through in their service, making our stay truly comfortable. In terms of receiving hospitality that exceeds the room rate, I think it offers the best value for money in Tokyo. In particular, the gentleman in the Executive Lounge (the person on the right in the photo) was exceptional—his conversation, service, and cocktail-making skills were all truly first-rate, adding even more value to our stay. He kept an ideal distance while attentively looking after every guest. I give five stars to him for making us feel glad we stayed here and eager to return.

I stay here around the same time every year. This year again, I was able to truly relax and feel refreshed. The staff were attentive, and everyone was wonderful. There are more foreign attendants now, but their Japanese is excellent, and I imagine they are well received by international guests as well. I use a wheelchair, and the considerate support provided was just right, making my stay even more comfortable. Having an Onsen in the Room that I can enjoy anytime is also fantastic. The staff were very kind and helpful, which was great. The Facility feels a bit old, but it is kept very clean and well maintained, so I had a comfortable stay. If I have the opportunity again, I would definitely like to stay here.

I stayed here for my birthday and wanted to treat myself a little. The Room was well kept, and above all, the meals were delicious (a bit generous in portion size, though). The best part was being able to enjoy freshly baked bread at breakfast. The view from the balcony also gave me time to forget everyday life. And most of all, the Hotel staff provided polished, kind, and courteous service that made me want to come back whenever I feel like treating myself again. Perfect in every way!!! I made a Reservation to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. Since the Room was not a suite, it felt moderately spacious and not especially luxurious, but the view was great, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The welcome chocolates were also delicious, and she was very happy. Thank you as well for accommodating our request to add a birthday plate at dinner.

It was pleasant to take walks at this Hotel by the sea, and many of the staff were kind, so we had a very comfortable stay. Above all, the food was excellent. The seafood from the Genkai Sea and the sushi were all delicious.　However, the bath in our Room was fully visible from the beach and the road, which made it difficult to use. I feel blinds would have been more practical than curtains for both the window and the partition between the Room and the bath.
