My wife and I stayed for two nights over a weekend trip. Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t fully enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa as planned. However, the time we spent at the Hotel was incredibly comfortable, and thanks to the wonderful lounge and the thoughtful care of all the staff, it turned into a truly satisfying stay. We arrived at the Hotel around noon. Our car was taken care of with valet service, which made it easy for us to head to Omicho Market. We enjoyed rock oysters, Noto beef croquettes, grilled scallop skewers, and more. When we returned to the Hotel around 2:00 p.m., even though it was before check-in time, we were kindly told that our Room was already ready. The Room was spotless and had a calm atmosphere—such a welcome gesture after walking in the rain. What I had been looking forward to most during this stay was the club lounge. We were amazed by how well stocked it was: their famous cakes, sandwiches, a wide selection of drinks, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The evening offerings were also excellent—far beyond what you’d expect from “just a lounge,” and more than enough for us as dinner. We were also excited about breakfast. Although we had to wait a little due to full seating, the food exceeded our expectations. It felt distinctly Kanazawa-like as well, and we were very satisfied. Above all else, what left the strongest impression was the staff’s smiles and hospitality. Throughout our two-night stay, every staff member greeted us with genuine warmth, and their attentive care comforted us again and again. Even when checking out and leaving, there was one last pleasant surprise. When our car was brought to the entrance via valet service, chilled mineral water had been placed in the cup holders. My wife and I were truly touched by such thoughtfulness until the very end. Since we couldn’t do as much sightseeing in Kanazawa due to the rain this time around، our time at this Hotel became an especially memorable part of our trip. When we visit Kanazawa again، we would definitely love to stay here. To all of your staff، thank you very much for an amazing two nights and three days.

When visiting Huis Ten Bosch, I stayed at Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch. This time, I booked a Plan that included both the stay and a one-day passport for Huis Ten Bosch, and it cost 26,100 yen for two people in one Room. With the Accommodation located right next to the park and the passport included at this price, it felt like an excellent deal. The Room showed a bit of age in places, but it was well cleaned and very tidy. I had a comfortable stay with nothing in particular to complain about. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of options and generous portions. They also offered local dishes, which was a nice way to experience Nagasaki flavors. Everything was delicious, and I could eat well from the morning. Another great feature is the large public bath. After walking around Huis Ten Bosch all day, it was relaxing to soak and ease my fatigue. The bath area also had plenty of basic skincare amenities available, which made it convenient to use with almost no need to bring anything. These thoughtful touches left a great impression. Overall, between the great location, good value with the one-day passport included, tasty breakfast, and the large public bath, it was a very satisfying stay. If you want to fully enjoy Huis Ten Bosch, this is a convenient Hotel I would recommend.

I originally planned to stay at a mountain hut for a hike, but the weather turned bad, so I changed plans to sightseeing in Kanazawa and made a Reservation at this Hotel. When I arrived at the parking lot, the building looked old from the outside and I was a little worried, but once I went to the lobby and then to my Room, I was glad I chose this place. First of all, everyone in the lobby was kind, pleasant, and very helpful. The lobby interior was wonderful, and the Room had been beautifully renovated. I had a very comfortable stay. With Kanazawa Castle right next door, it’s also very convenient for sightseeing. Next time I come to Kanazawa, I’d like to stay here again.

I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.

Thank you very much for everything. This is a wonderful Accommodation where you can enjoy both the gold and silver Onsen. Not only are the baths spacious, they are also kept extremely clean, making for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating time. The Shuttle Service staff, as well as all team members, were excellent, and the in-Room dining was delicious—there is nothing to complain about. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we will stay here. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality.

We had some unexpected free time and stayed here as a couple. This is our third visit, as it’s an Accommodation where you can relax in luxury. The Room, service, and Onsen were consistently satisfying as always, but the cuisine felt like it had reached a new level. Not only was everything delicious, each course brought surprise after surprise. Nothing—even the dessert—felt ordinary, and we were truly delighted. Perhaps due to the impact of the Kumamoto earthquakes, it seems a bit easier to make a Reservation right now. We’d love to return again.

We had a very comfortable stay. The Room we stayed in was the Comfort Extra Twin. Within its compact size, it features a bathroom with a washing area, a separate toilet, and a washbasin. Shoes are not allowed on the floor inside the Room. It was perfect for those who don’t need a large, luxurious Room and want to keep costs down, but still want to relax in the bath and use the toilet without feeling self-conscious. One small note: since there is only a curtain separating the beds from the washbasin area (i.e., the changing space), some guests may find it bothersome. For us, as a family traveling with small children, it didn’t bother us at all. Other nice perks included borrowing manga to read, an on-site coin laundry, welcome drinks, and good value benefits.

We stayed at this Accommodation with our children while visiting family. Both the meals and the Onsen were excellent. The open-air bath temperature was just right for our child, and they were very happy. They were also delighted that somen noodles were served with the children’s meal. Because there aren’t many Rooms, the property felt calm and relaxing throughout. Thank you very much.

I planned to share the Room name as part of a birthday message for him, and the Ryokan kindly helped by arranging a bouquet in the Room. Then, on the day, they upgraded our Room, which also made my message to him even more special, and it became a time that brought us even closer (lol). The staff were very kind, and since the bath was private to our Room only, we were able to relax and enjoy our time together. I would definitely like to stay again! Thank you very much.

Thank you for coming to Tokyo. An Accommodation that genuinely makes you feel that way. Here, I found “Fufu’s true commitment.” As for the dining, I’ll spare the details—but every single dish was so exceptional it stayed with me, to the point that it made me want to return just for the food. And then there’s the Onsen you can enjoy in your Room. Onsen water brought from Atami can be savored right in the heart of Tokyo, with absolutely no compromise. A truly luxurious time. The service was also flawless. The sense of distance, attentiveness, and every gesture—everything felt comfortable. The space, the Onsen, the food, and the people. This was an Accommodation where I could feel “Fufu’s true commitment” in all of it.

We stayed in the Force Room. Thank you for accommodating our last-minute Reservation.\nAlthough the Room is a separate building with a thatched roof, it is not an old traditional house; the interior has the latest facilities, so we were able to stay as comfortably as we would at a city Hotel.\nFrom the Room, we could see the thatched roofs of other rooms, and it felt like we had traveled back in time to another world.\nWe used the spacious open-air bath in our Room; the hot spring water was slightly cloudy with mineral deposits floating on top, and it was wonderful.\nThe large public bath is also right by the river, offering an open, airy feel and an excellent location.\nHighly recommended Accommodation.

We stayed here as a couple during the Obon holidays. Even though it was the hottest time of midsummer, Tenkawa Village was wonderfully cool—a top summer retreat in Kansai where we could stay comfortable without using the Room air conditioner and without breaking a sweat. We had long admired the charm of Dorogawa Onsen and had wanted to stay there at least once, and choosing Hanaya Tokubei was absolutely the right decision. The whole town has a lovely atmosphere, but Tokubei stands out for its especially distinctive and tasteful building. Because there are few guest Rooms with private indoor baths in the area, we stayed in “Higashi no Tenku” with an indoor bath. The view is mostly of the courtyard, so if you are used to resort-style Onsen facilities it may not exceed expectations. Still, considering this is traditionally an Accommodation used by ascetics, we felt it was a true luxury and enjoyed it. The meals were delicious Japanese cuisine featuring plenty of local ingredients, with thoughtful touches throughout that kept our Multiple Night Stay from ever feeling repetitive. We were completely full but couldn’t bear to leave anything behind—and finished every last bite. Spending time on the veranda at dusk with a beer in hand while watching people pass by was simply wonderful. After sunset, strolling around the area in yukata is also great fun. Wherever you walk, the lantern lights feel magical, and Tokubei lends out portable lanterns as well. It was like stepping back into a period drama. There were also foreign staff members, and they were genuinely kind and attentive—we truly appreciated it. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again. Highly recommended if you are sightseeing in Dorogawa Onsen.

Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. The service is also very polite, with no issues.\nWe stayed with children, and it was a great help that they proactively offered to provide a baby crib and bouncer.\nI’m glad we found such a wonderful Accommodation for the first time in a while.

I stayed for work, and the room was spacious and clean, with excellent meals. The directions and assistance from the front desk when I went out for dinner were also great, making it a pleasant outing. I would like to visit again with my family next time.

Because they cannot accommodate a large number of guests, they provided attentive service to each party. There were also guests who came just for meals, so they were busy, but it never felt hectic—truly a wonderful Accommodation. Every dish was delicious, but the portions were more than someone in their 50s could finish, so we left some. It’s best to arrive hungry.

Located about an hour from Shinjuku and easy to reach, yet once you step inside, a beautiful, nature-filled garden unfolds and makes you forget everyday life in an instant. The Room was also wonderful—said to be a favorite of Hayao Miyazaki—with thoughtful details throughout, from the view from the round in-room bath to the uniquely textured corridors, creating a truly charming atmosphere. From arrival to departure, the staff’s warm hospitality and attentive care made our family feel completely at ease, allowing us to spend a very comfortable and happy time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-drink craft beer server. The open-air bath overlooking the bamboo grove was also wonderful: during the day, you can hear cicadas, and at night it has a majestic, Bamboo Cutter’s Tale atmosphere. The meals were excellent—both dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The bar had many cocktails and Japanese whiskies, all delicious. Thank you to the bartender.

It was simply amazing!! I’ve stayed at many large Ryokan, and I was delighted to enjoy both the scenic-view baths and a variety of hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with more food than we could finish. Everything was truly delicious—thank you very much. The building had a classic, long-established feel, but the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We stayed with our child and had a great time without ever getting bored, thanks to the pool, fishing, arcade, and play area. It made us want to come back again if we get the chance. We debated among several Accommodations on Awaji Island (including sister properties), but we’re congratulating ourselves for making a great choice with Hotel New Awaji.

Thank you very much for accommodating my daughter’s allergies and picky eating. At her earnest request, this was our first mother-and-daughter trip to Hanamaki to experience the world of Kenji Miyazawa. I’m always concerned about her meals when we travel, but thanks to you we were able to relax and enjoy our stay with peace of mind. It is a wonderful Ryokan—so much so that 24 hours in a day didn’t feel like enough. Next time, we would love to visit again with my husband and our other daughter—the whole family. It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.
