This was my first stay. I stayed in a single room, and I found the layout quite interesting. It felt like the design focused on making the limited space feel as spacious as possible. The bed was made very well, and I slept soundly. If I had to mention one thing, it would be breakfast. Since this is Shunan, I thought it might be nice to include at least one local specialty on the menu—though perhaps I simply missed it. Also, there were flies in the breakfast area, which should be addressed. As it isn’t a fully enclosed space, that may be difficult. That said, all of the food served was delicious and I was satisfied. It’s great that they offer coffee jelly. The large public bath is small but functional, and I was happy with that as well. Overall, my satisfaction outweighed any concerns. When I stay in Shunan again, I would like to use this hotel again.

I’m a repeat guest. I always have a comfortable stay. The Room is clean, and I appreciate the anti-fog section on part of the bathroom mirror. Seeing the little rubber duck in the bath is soothing, even for an older guy.

The Facility and Room were stylish, impeccably clean, and incredibly relaxing. The tea and snacks prepared at check-in were also chic and instantly lifted my mood. All the in-room amenities, as well as the sweets, coffee, and other refreshments provided, felt carefully selected. Dinner was far better than I had imagined—delicious, of course, and beautifully presented for the eyes as well. I requested a mixed pairing of sake and wine, which turned out to be exactly right; even though my appetite had been down from summer fatigue, both the drinks and the food went down easily. I also heard that even the seasonings are handmade, and my overall satisfaction was higher than at an auberge—maybe it is an auberge? The garden view was lovely too; with wonderful food and drinks plus attentive service, it became an unforgettable night. All of the staff were courteous yet friendly—I’d love to see them again. I’d like to visit again in a different season.

This was my long-awaited second stay. The fish-focused dinner was delicious, and I wanted to come back, so I stayed again. Yukata-style loungewear is provided, so I changed right after check-in and enjoyed the complimentary draft beer. With only a small number of guest rooms, it’s an Accommodation where you can relax comfortably and truly unwind. The rice cooked in a traditional iron pot at breakfast was excellent, and I also enjoyed the simmered golden eye snapper that I couldn’t finish at dinner. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was wonderful as well. Thank you very much. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Nice to meet you. This was our older siblings’ once-a-year trip to Tomakomai (meeting up with our cousins in Tomakomai), and we were very satisfied with the complimentary drinks and other services at the Hotel group’s izakaya. We also sincerely appreciate your thoughtful hospitality, including the Hotel ice cream and soba noodles after the Onsen. We look forward to staying with you again.

I booked about an hour before arrival, and they still welcomed me very warmly. From the moment I arrived by car, the service was excellent, and the welcome drink was delicious. Because it was so last-minute, there weren’t any larger rooms available, but the room I was shown was very clean and stylish. The amenities were well stocked, and I didn’t feel inconvenienced at all. The large public bath was also spotless and left me feeling wonderfully warm. There were also a post-bath lounge area, a kids’ room, and a rooftop terrace, and I really appreciated the complimentary bite-sized sorbet and drinks as well as the evening cake service. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed at an inn where every staff member was so friendly and attentive. Next time, I’d love to bring my parents and stay in a larger room. The deer decor in the interior was also adorable. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

The complimentary drinks (including plenty of alcohol) and breakfast were excellent. With those Facilities and that level of service at such a low price, it was outstanding. If I had to mention one thing, the washing area in the Onsen is small, so it would be appreciated if women’s hours could be longer.

It was a wonderful stay. The exterior is charming, and the interior—including the Room—was very clean and well maintained overall. The bed had just the right firmness, and I slept very well. Having an on-site restaurant was also very convenient. And the food was delicious. The location is excellent, and we had no inconveniences at all. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. I would love to stay again.

This was a long-awaited stay, and everything was outstanding. In particular, the meals were perfect in every way—the quality, portion size, timing of each course, and even the attentive service—truly living up to its top reputation in Akiu. If I had to mention just two wishes: First, the private open-air bath felt somewhat enclosed by partition walls and bamboo blinds, so the sense of openness was reduced (this would be resolved by upgrading the room). Second, as I am in my late senior years, it was difficult for me to stand up from the tatami floor and futon; having a bed would have been even better. (Regarding the futon: I understand it is laid out during dinner as expected, but since it was also put away during breakfast, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand.)

We stayed in the South Wing. We loved having a separate bedroom and a massage chair, and the entrance and wash area were spacious as well. In-room dining, a semi-open-air bath in the Room, the large public bath, and the lounge—everything we wish for on an Onsen trip was there. The meals were delicious, made with carefully selected local ingredients and thoughtfully prepared dish by dish. We were impressed by the considerate touches such as chairs near the elevator, as well as the original coffee and tea provided in the Room. Above all, it was wonderful to see how efficiently and pleasantly all of the staff worked. We would love to visit again in a different season.

We chose this accommodation for its views of Lake Biwa. The scenery throughout the property was exactly as shown in the photos on the website, and we were captivated by the refined design and attention to detail. We booked a plan with breakfast and dinner included, and every dish—made with plenty of local ingredients—was absolutely delicious. We would love to come again, and we would also like to recommend it to someone special. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

A clean and well-maintained Hotel with an excellent location and easy access from the station. With restaurants and convenience stores nearby, you won’t have any trouble finding what you need. The shampoo and other amenities in the bath dispense a bit poorly.

I stayed here last year and loved it, so I decided to visit again. The Room is simple yet comfortable, with a unique design not often seen elsewhere. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the spacious bath feels like home, allowing you to relax without worrying about water splashing around. The sink is an extension of the counter inside the Room—an uncommon but very convenient feature. The bed is wide and offers excellent comfort for a good night's sleep. Even with a no-breakfast Plan, complimentary coffee and non-alcoholic drinks are available in the front floor area, which is much appreciated. The TV is internet-based, so regular broadcasts aren't available. While this might be disappointing for avid TV watchers, you can still watch some current shows on YouTube or other platforms without much inconvenience. Parking is available at ground level behind the building with an entrance there as well—very convenient. The front floor has sofas for waiting or meeting up with others and features seasonal decorations that add charm to your stay. Although I didn't use it myself, there’s also a coin laundry facility available. The staff left a positive impression as well!

Stayed again. I use it for work and meetings with clients. As before, it’s a Hotel located in a love hotel district, but the Room is spacious and the bed is large, so you can sleep comfortably and relax. Dinner is included, but unfortunately prices have gone up and more menu items now require an additional fee, which was unexpected. The Room also has internet access, making it convenient for work, and overall it’s a comfortable stay.

A 3-minute walk to the station and a 6-minute walk to AEON Tokoname. It’s also just one stop from the airport.\nAlthough we stayed for one night, parking was inexpensive because it wasn’t peak season—1,500 yen for five nights.\nI think this Hotel can be used differently from those adjacent to Centrair.\nThe Room was spacious and clean.\nWe appreciated the staff’s courteous service.\nBreakfast is provided as a complimentary service.\nBy the way, there was a shuttle bus from the station to downtown Tokoname.

It’s a casual Hotel, but the staff were very kind and it was a great place to stay. Since no larger Room was available, we expected it, but it was still disappointing that the Room felt cramped for two people and we couldn’t spread out our luggage, and the bathroom was also too tight to use comfortably. Stopping by an Onsen instead was the right choice. Still, everything was thoroughly cleaned, and the staff at the neighboring restaurant were also cheerful and kind, which made our stay pleasant.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. All of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and when we mentioned it was for a birthday, they happily helped us out—their warm thoughtfulness truly made our day. The view from the room was just as stunning as in the photos, and the private beach felt completely exclusive, allowing us to fully enjoy Miyakojima’s beautiful ocean. Both breakfast and dinner reflected great care in ingredient selection; every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. During our stay, we were able to spend quiet, unhurried time without worrying about others, and we could truly relax. As it’s a villa surrounded by nature, there were some insects at times, but we felt that was simply part of being so close to nature. We were satisfied with everything—the scenery, the meals, and the hospitality—and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. It’s a wonderful resort that we would definitely recommend to others. We would love to stay here again when visiting Miyakojima.

I had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights and 4 days. It was close to the station, and the Room and large public bath were clean. The toilet and washbasin area were separate, and the pajamas were the type with pants. I could feel thoughtful attention to detail everywhere. Thank you very much.

The Room is clean, compact yet functional. The large public bath is also great. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and I ended up eating too much. It’s also convenient to have a convenience store right in front. If I had to mention one thing, the building is long horizontally, so it’s a bit of a walk to the Room.

I’d been looking forward to this stay for a long time! The traffic was terrible on the day and I was exhausted, but being surrounded by nature was so relaxing. We had a lovely view of the lakeside from our room, and at night the stars were beautiful—the air felt so clear. There was an adorable picnic set in the room. We arrived in the evening so we didn’t get a chance to use it, but I really wish we had. The meals were beautifully presented and everything tasted wonderful. I was satisfied with both dinner and breakfast! Eating while looking out over the lake in the morning felt so refreshing—I could do it every day. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.
