Although it was a small Hotel with older Facilities, the thoughtful hospitality made our stay enjoyable. I would like to stay again.

This time I stayed here on a business trip. I had been wanting to stay at this Hotel, so it was a great opportunity. The lobby was spacious, quiet, and relaxing, and the service was pleasant. I stayed in a renovated Room on the top floor. It had a great atmosphere and was very comfortable, so I enjoyed spending the evening in the Room instead of going out for a walk. Although it is a unit bath, the bathtub was spacious and the sink area was wide and easy to use. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and you can take your time. They even provided a coffee pot at the table, which was excellent. The chef-made omelet needs no comment, but I was surprised by how delicious the shumai were. I drove for this business trip, and guests can use the underground parking for free—this service was also great. It’s a Hotel that made me want to come back for leisure next time and enjoy a Multiple Night Stay at my own pace.

As the facility includes an Onsen, I was able to spend a very enjoyable and comfortable time. I heard the tuna is delicious, so next time I would like to take my time and enjoy the meals as well.

We stayed in two Rooms for a girls’ trip. The Rooms were thoroughly cleaned, and we had no problems during our stay. Unfortunately, we overslept and couldn’t make it to breakfast. We’re planning another trip to Shikoku, so we’d love to stay here again when we visit Kochi for sightseeing. Thank you very much.

The nearest station is Yodoyabashi, with convenient access to anywhere in Osaka. JR Kitashinchi Station is also reasonably close. The view from the high floors overlooking Midosuji to the south is well worth it (my Room was upgraded as well). The mirror-heavy design can also feel luxurious in its own way. The sky-high large public bath and open-air bath are unique highlights you won’t find elsewhere. There are many foreign guests (especially Westerners), and plenty of Western travelers stay here. There’s also a gym and laundry facilities, and both were busy. Although the breakfast venue is spacious, it can feel a bit unsettled due to the crowds—sometimes your seat may be very far from the food—but it also offers great views, and for this price I was satisfied with everything overall.

When I arrived at the Hotel in the evening and checked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the welcome drinks: sake and wine. They were perfectly chilled and excellent. In the morning, breakfast was served on the 12th floor. The Tateyama Mountain Range looked beautiful, which felt like a special bonus. Of course, breakfast was also very delicious.

This was my first stay here. The new building is a bit far from the baths, but it was very clean and comfortable. The bath left my skin feeling smooth, and the Onsen was excellent. The dining place I used offers set meals at reasonable, fair prices. The horse mackerel sashimi set meal was very fresh and delicious. It seems that both the Onsen and the dining place can be used by non-guests as well. Since the price doubles for two guests, I wish it were a bit more affordable. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

It was quiet and relaxing.

I made a last-minute Reservation the day before and stayed for the first time in several years. The Room was in the separate annex on the 1st floor and was spacious for two people, new, and very clean. Although there was no view, we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Regarding the bath showers, one shower stall was out of order. Since only two people had used it before us, we were able to wash without any issues, but I think it could be inconvenient when it is crowded. Also, I was disappointed that there was no hairbrush among the amenities in the bath area. There wasn’t one at the Room’s sink either, so I recommend that future guests bring their own. As others have mentioned, breakfast did not feel very filling and left me wanting a bit more. However, the coffee served after the meal was fragrant and delicious.

Check-in is until 10:00 PM, but it was reassuring to know it would still be okay even if I arrived late. I struggled because I couldn’t figure out how to enter the passcode at the door. Since there is no front desk, there was no one to ask… The shower room door wouldn’t open, and when I contacted support via the tablet, the staff member was a foreigner and we couldn’t communicate well… (They were doing their best, so it didn’t leave a bad impression.) I also had trouble because there was no hot water for the bath, but it turned out the water heater switch wasn’t on… (If guests are going to use hot water anyway, I wish it had been turned on.) The tablet stand was broken, and when I touched it I found signs of a previous repair with duct tape on the back. (Just to be clear—I didn’t break it.) The Room felt clean, and the cooking utensils were more than adequate. (If coffee is provided, I’d also like milk and sugar!) There was also a washing machine and a drying rack, which impressed me. I’d like to stay at another Accommodation in this group when traveling elsewhere.

After earning my Onsen Sommelier Master certification, I’ve been gradually visiting Onsen around Japan. The water quality in Shibu Onsen is truly wonderful. I was surprised by how many international visitors there were. Because the public bath tour was crowded, I couldn’t visit them all… but I was able to enjoy almost all of the baths at the Ryokan. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, which made my stay truly soothing. To Mr. Y from the male staff: thank you for all the fun conversations. If you have time, please do come to Niigata again.

Dining by the atmospheric irori hearth was wonderful in both ambiance and taste. Breakfast was not a buffet, so we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. The staff were kind, and it was a comfortable Accommodation. The sink being unusually low bothered me a little, but it wasn’t too inconvenient. I was happy that the in-room bath had tiled walls that gave a nostalgic Showa-era feel. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

Thank you for hosting me on my solo trip. Last time I stayed in the center of Matsuyama and felt a bit unsettled, but this time I was very satisfied to be surrounded by nature.

I stay here every year when I return home. I’m very satisfied that the price doesn’t change even during the Obon season. I plan to stay again next year.

This was my first stay. The Room was compact, but the sink area and bathroom were separate, which was great. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, so I had a very comfortable stay. If I have the opportunity to stay again, I would be happy to do so. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for offering such an affordable stay with breakfast included. It’s very conveniently located near the station, and there are many restaurants nearby, so finding a place to eat is easy (though many are closed on Sundays). Surrounded by nature, the setting is wonderful as well. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Close to Aomori Station, making it very convenient for getting around. In addition to the Room, there was a bathhouse where I could relax and unwind. The breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. I would love to stay here again.

First, take the ferry from Toba to Toshi Island—an amazing, travel-filled experience. (Be sure to park your car in the First Parking Lot and bring the parking ticket to the Accommodation.) If you contact them in advance, they will provide Shuttle Service to Wagu Port. I wanted to buy chirimen, so I walked from Toshi Port; it’s also very close on foot from Toshi Port. The chirimen shop in front of Toshi Port is highly recommended. The Ryokan feels a bit inconvenient due to its older exterior and the lack of an elevator, but inside it is clean, and both the Room and the large public bath have been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. From my Room, I enjoyed a luxurious time just gazing at the sea beyond the fishing port. The Onsen doesn’t have a view, but it’s clean; even after soaking for a long time I didn’t feel tired, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. I liked it so much that I ended up bathing four times during my stay. For dinner, I upgraded to include Matsusaka beef steak and shabu-shabu, and also ordered abalone sashimi as an extra dish. The spiny lobster and sashimi were fresh and springy; the extra abalone had a wonderful ocean aroma and was outstanding. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious too. Breakfast featured an incredibly rich spiny lobster miso soup—I ate far too much rice first thing in the morning. Excellent value for money—truly fantastic. The owner, his son, and all staff were very pleasant throughout my stay, making my island time comfortable from start to finish. Thank you very much. Next time I plan on bringing fishing gear for a Multiple Night Stay—thank you again in advance.

The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, with great smiles. Considering the Onsen and complimentary drinks, you can really see the Hotel’s efforts in terms of value for money.

We stayed in a Room with a semi-open-air bath. It was very clean and stylish. The bath was incredibly relaxing, and since there was also a sauna in the Room, I got to try a sauna for the first time in my life. The cute little duck we could take home was also adorable. All of the staff were truly polite and kind, which really impressed us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again when we travel to Kobe!
