I stayed here because I had an early morning flight from Haneda the next day. It was very convenient, as it’s close to the station and also close to the airport.

When I arrived at the Hotel in the evening and checked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the welcome drinks: sake and wine. They were perfectly chilled and excellent. In the morning, breakfast was served on the 12th floor. The Tateyama Mountain Range looked beautiful, which felt like a special bonus. Of course, breakfast was also very delicious.

I was in Gifu for work, and since I had a late return and an early start the next day, I stayed here. If I’d gone all the way home, I would have only been able to sleep for four hours. Even though the price is the same whether you stay alone or with two people, it was cheaper than nearby business hotels, which I really appreciated. I don’t like places that are too flashy, so I thought “as long as I can rest…”—and the Room was clean and simple. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the bed was wide and fluffy, so I slept very comfortably. The only disappointing thing was that it rained. I had planned to climb a mountain the next morning—that was one reason I stayed here. Still, since I was tired, it might have been for the best. If a similar situation comes up again, I’ll use this place again. It also seems like a good option for staying the night before traversing the Kakamigahara Alps!

This was my first stay here. The new building is a bit far from the baths, but it was very clean and comfortable. The bath left my skin feeling smooth, and the Onsen was excellent. The dining place I used offers set meals at reasonable, fair prices. The horse mackerel sashimi set meal was very fresh and delicious. It seems that both the Onsen and the dining place can be used by non-guests as well. Since the price doubles for two guests, I wish it were a bit more affordable. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

It was quiet and relaxing.

I made a last-minute Reservation the day before and stayed for the first time in several years. The Room was in the separate annex on the 1st floor and was spacious for two people, new, and very clean. Although there was no view, we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Regarding the bath showers, one shower stall was out of order. Since only two people had used it before us, we were able to wash without any issues, but I think it could be inconvenient when it is crowded. Also, I was disappointed that there was no hairbrush among the amenities in the bath area. There wasn’t one at the Room’s sink either, so I recommend that future guests bring their own. As others have mentioned, breakfast did not feel very filling and left me wanting a bit more. However, the coffee served after the meal was fragrant and delicious.

After earning my Onsen Sommelier Master certification, I’ve been gradually visiting Onsen around Japan. The water quality in Shibu Onsen is truly wonderful. I was surprised by how many international visitors there were. Because the public bath tour was crowded, I couldn’t visit them all… but I was able to enjoy almost all of the baths at the Ryokan. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, which made my stay truly soothing. To Mr. Y from the male staff: thank you for all the fun conversations. If you have time, please do come to Niigata again.

Dining by the atmospheric irori hearth was wonderful in both ambiance and taste. Breakfast was not a buffet, so we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. The staff were kind, and it was a comfortable Accommodation. The sink being unusually low bothered me a little, but it wasn’t too inconvenient. I was happy that the in-room bath had tiled walls that gave a nostalgic Showa-era feel. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

Thank you for hosting me on my solo trip. Last time I stayed in the center of Matsuyama and felt a bit unsettled, but this time I was very satisfied to be surrounded by nature.

I stay here every year when I return home. I’m very satisfied that the price doesn’t change even during the Obon season. I plan to stay again next year.

This was my first stay. The Room was compact, but the sink area and bathroom were separate, which was great. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, so I had a very comfortable stay. If I have the opportunity to stay again, I would be happy to do so. Thank you very much.

It’s very conveniently located near the station, and there are many restaurants nearby, so finding a place to eat is easy (though many are closed on Sundays). Close to Aomori Station, making it very convenient for getting around. In addition to the Room, there was a bathhouse where I could relax and unwind. The breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. I would love to stay here again.

Thank you for accommodating our requests. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, so our stay felt very satisfying. Thank you very much. There was just one disappointing point: we noticed what looked like coffee stains during the Room cleaning (on the kettle and the tatami), which really bothered us. The stain on the tatami may not come out, but the kettle stain came off with just a rinse, so it made us wonder whether it had been cleaned. That part was a little disappointing.

First, take the ferry from Toba to Toshi Island—an amazing, travel-filled experience. (Be sure to park your car in the First Parking Lot and bring the parking ticket to the Accommodation.) If you contact them in advance, they will provide Shuttle Service to Wagu Port. I wanted to buy chirimen, so I walked from Toshi Port; it’s also very close on foot from Toshi Port. The chirimen shop in front of Toshi Port is highly recommended. The Ryokan feels a bit inconvenient due to its older exterior and the lack of an elevator, but inside it is clean, and both the Room and the large public bath have been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. From my Room, I enjoyed a luxurious time just gazing at the sea beyond the fishing port. The Onsen doesn’t have a view, but it’s clean; even after soaking for a long time I didn’t feel tired, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. I liked it so much that I ended up bathing four times during my stay. For dinner, I upgraded to include Matsusaka beef steak and shabu-shabu, and also ordered abalone sashimi as an extra dish. The spiny lobster and sashimi were fresh and springy; the extra abalone had a wonderful ocean aroma and was outstanding. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious too. Breakfast featured an incredibly rich spiny lobster miso soup—I ate far too much rice first thing in the morning. Excellent value for money—truly fantastic. The owner, his son, and all staff were very pleasant throughout my stay, making my island time comfortable from start to finish. Thank you very much. Next time I plan on bringing fishing gear for a Multiple Night Stay—thank you again in advance.

We stayed in a Room with a semi-open-air bath. It was very clean and stylish. The bath was incredibly relaxing, and since there was also a sauna in the Room, I got to try a sauna for the first time in my life. The cute little duck we could take home was also adorable. All of the staff were truly polite and kind, which really impressed us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again when we travel to Kobe!

It was easy to find and get to right after exiting the station. When I asked the front desk about places to go out at night, they quickly looked it up for me and even made a copy, which was very helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable, but I could hear some voices from next door. I requested breakfast, and since I often end up eating only what I like while traveling, the Japanese set meal gave me a calm, satisfying meal. It was delicious—I even had seconds of rice and miso soup, sorry about that. It was a reasonably priced Hotel that I was satisfied with. Thank you for your help. It became a great memory. The ocean-view location was wonderful. Every dish was delicious, and we were blown away by the lavish and outstanding sashimi platter.

I stayed for six days and had breakfast, but I would have liked butter and jam to go with the bread. Also, the menu on the final day (day 6) felt limited. (I was satisfied with the first five days.)

This was my first time staying at a container Hotel, and it was so comfortable that I might not be able to stay at other Hotels anymore. First of all, no stress with elevators, parking is nearby, and if the timing is right, you can park right in front. There’s enough distance between Rooms, so you don’t hear noise from neighboring Rooms—this is very important. I had a stress-free stay. The refrigerator and freezer are well-equipped; even ice cream stays perfectly frozen (laughs). In other Hotels, freezers are just an extra feature, so ice cream often melts into liquid form. This one is spacious and fits anything you need. There’s also a microwave in the Room that you can use anytime—it’s fantastic!
