First, there were no slippers, so you can walk around the Hotel in socks or barefoot—it felt like coming home. In the Room there were water, coffee, tea, and jelly; it was great to take the water with us while sightseeing. After using the large public bath, there was free ice cream and free massage chairs. At night we enjoyed complimentary late-night soba noodles, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options—we were completely full. Check-in and check-out were smooth with the self-service machines. It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again!

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

I had never seen coral grass before, and since the Coral Grass Festival is in mid-September, I honestly didn’t have high expectations for an October stay. However, from the moment we entered the parking lot guided by the Kagariya signboard, all we could say was “Wow!” The two of us on this girls’ trip were greeted by a stunning view of fully bloomed coral grass. I had no idea the location was this perfect. Although the building is old, it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The highlight, however, was the food. When choosing the accommodation, I had looked at photos, and the simmered Kinki fish was the deciding factor. The freshly caught Kinki fish served was just as impressive, if not more. It was so delicious that we applauded. Every other dish was equally delightful, leaving us completely satisfied. We stayed in a room facing the lake, and the breathtaking view of Lake Notoro from the window in the morning was unforgettable. From sunrise to the changing light and the many birds flying in, even red-crowned cranes came to feed. Next time, I hope to enjoy a full-course Kinki fish meal.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The staff were very helpful, and when I returned the next day, I was happy to find fresh towels hanging on the doorknob. The bathroom was small, but I had a comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

I was able to enjoy a relaxing time with the welcome café, the luxury room, and the Onsen sauna. It has great access to both Kyobashi and Osaka Castle—I didn’t realize it was this convenient, so I’ll be using it often from now on. Thank you very much.

This time, I stayed on a plan with Club Lounge access. The lounge was even better than I expected, and the staff were so kind and attentive that I ended up staying longer than planned. At check-in it was a bit crowded and I wasn’t sure what to do, but an older male staff member approached me and helped me check in smoothly. There were also many international staff members, and everyone was polite and professional—just as you’d expect from a long-established hotel with great attention to detail. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Naha.

I had been looking forward to my stay at Manpei Hotel, but after arriving I became unwell and developed a fever over 38°C. Even so, the staff were incredibly kind—lending me a thermometer and promptly bringing an ice pack and ice. They also kindly changed all of my meals to room service, allowing me to rest and eat comfortably in my room. Although my long-awaited stay turned out differently than expected, I truly appreciated the thoughtful care and warm hospitality, especially while I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, I ended up spending most of the time in the room this visit, but my husband was very pleased and said the in-room hot spring bath was wonderful. While I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the hotel in perfect health, the kindness of the staff is what stayed with me most. Next time, I would love to return when I’m feeling well and take my time enjoying this historic hotel and its dining. Thank you very much for everything.

I recently stayed at this Accommodation for the first time.\nThere were international staff working on-site, and their service was very polite and welcoming, so I felt at ease even as a first-time guest. Since I was staying with a relative who has some difficulty walking, I checked in advance about stairs; however, there was a small set of steps (about three) without handrails along the route inside the building, which made getting around a bit challenging. I think it would be helpful to have handrails there. I also feel that adding handrails to the open-air bath in the guest room would be beneficial.\nOn the other hand, every meal was delicious and more than enough in quantity—we were very satisfied. The dishes featuring seafood and local ingredients exceeded our expectations, and we were able to enjoy them at a relaxed pace. As our group enjoys drinking, we also appreciated that it was all-inclusive.\nOverall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we were impressed by the attentiveness of all the staff. With a few improvements to the facilities, it would be even more comfortable, but it was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to visit again.\nThank you very much.

Conveniently located near Dogo Onsen Station, the view from the Room was great, with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Matsuyama Castle visible. The window glass had a pattern, so it would have been even better if it were completely clear. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sense of cleanliness. The large public bath on the top floor was also very relaxing, and I especially recommend the open-air bath! We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and there were many local dishes and unique items—everything was delicious. Dinner was a half-buffet, but we were very full, so I thought it would be nice to have a Plan with buffet only (it may already exist...). Also, I’d be happy if there were mandarin orange juice at breakfast! It was also great to have live piano music in the evening.

My first visit was during last summer vacation. I wanted to get away from the fatigue of working with numbers... The sound of evening cicadas from the mountain right in front of me, and the gentle murmur of the Kinugawa River, were so soothing. There are many types of baths, and the open-air bath—surrounded by the scent of the forest—was incredibly relaxing; it felt like true luxury. For dinner, both the Japanese course meal and the buffet were delicious—I couldn’t be more satisfied. And of course, there’s a breakfast buffet too! I loved this Hotel so much that I’ve come back many times. It’s very easy to access from central Tokyo: it’s about a 5-minute walk from Tobu World Square to reach the Hotel, and there is also a convenient Shuttle Service from Kinugawa Onsen Station. This is my favorite Hotel—one I want to visit in every season.

I stayed for 4 nights. Since it was a hot season, I really appreciated the unlimited soft drinks. They also provide loungewear, towels, earplugs, cleansing oil, toner, and hair oil, which was truly convenient. The place was well cleaned and very comfortable.

Since I always end up going to Hokkaido, this was my first stay in Akita. I chose this Hotel because it’s close to the station for riding the Gono Line. Unfortunately, heavy rain caused the Gono Line to be suspended that day, but I’m truly glad I stayed here. All the staff were pleasant and attentive, with just the right sense of distance. The lounge had a very relaxing atmosphere, and both tea time and cocktail time were extremely satisfying. There were about 10 kinds of Akita local sake, and they mentioned that their recommendations keep increasing over time. They also offered shochu, draft beer, bottled beer, sparkling wine, wine, and more. Just as other Reviews said before my trip, everything was delicious—marinated fresh fish, chilled pork shabu-shabu, iburigakko with cheese, warm chicken dishes and fish dishes. A lady next to me said she has stayed here many times. It’s close to the station and you can get there without getting wet in the rain. I arrived at 1:00 p.m. planning only to leave my luggage, but they told me my Room was ready so I could check in early. After strolling around Kubota Castle Ruins and the park right in front of the Hotel, I went back to the station and bought a cute Akita dog T-shirt and tote bag for my grandchild. Breakfast also featured a lineup full of Akita specialties—kiritanpo and onigiri where you can choose both rice type and fillings—so it had been a while since I felt completely full from breakfast. There were still items I didn’t get to try yet, so I’ll be back again—and next time I’ll ride the Gono Line.

I stayed here with my parents and my 7-month-old daughter. It was even more baby-friendly than I expected! They provided a diaper disposal bin, baby bath, baby soap, bed guard, Bumbo seat, and even bath toys. In addition, the dining area for both breakfast and dinner was a private room. With tatami flooring, we could relax and enjoy our meals without worrying too much even if our baby crawled around or made a bit of noise. They also helped warm up baby food and provided tableware and a high-low chair, which was incredibly helpful. The food was delicious—we were truly satisfied! The staff also spoke to our daughter often, which made us feel very welcome. I especially recommend this place for families with children.

This is my third stay here. The direct connection to the station is a real highlight. The Hotel room is clean and very comfortable to use. Breakfast also offers many Nagoya specialties, which I enjoyed. I also appreciated the service of making a café latte upon request. With restaurants, a convenience store selling souvenirs, a pharmacy, and Starbucks all in the same building, it’s very convenient, so I would stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

Before booking, I had a few questions, so I called the hotel and then made my reservation. The staff member on the phone was very polite and accurate, which gave me confidence to book, and this was my first stay. When I arrived, the parking lot was full, but they kindly directed me to a nearby parking area. At the front desk, I told the staff it was my first time and that I didn’t know how things worked, and they explained everything carefully. Although it was a weekday stay, there were many families with children. I wanted a hotel with a separate bath and toilet and a bathtub; even though I stayed alone, the bathroom had a chair and wash basin, and the shower head settings could be changed with a button, which made it very comfortable. It was clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and I was very satisfied. I have already booked another stay in November as well—thank you in advance for your continued hospitality.

I go on hot spring trips twice a month. This was my first time here, and I was extremely satisfied. The entire property, including the room, was kept very clean, and all the staff were kind. Both the large public bath and the changing area were very spacious, and the view from the open-air bath was wonderful. The water temperature was comfortable, so I could soak and relax for a long time. There’s also a sauna—and the cold plunge pool was ice-cold, which made me as a sauna lover absolutely thrilled! The only slight downside was that some foreign guests were talking loudly in the bath for a long time. I wanted to spend my time quietly. The meals were more than enough for someone with a small appetite like me. The dining staff were very kind and friendly, so I had an enjoyable time. I was also happy to receive access to a private bath and drink service through the Diamond Member benefits. This is definitely going to be one of my repeat stays. Thank you very much—I’ll be back.

We stayed here as a family during our summer vacation. The pancakes, pudding, and every meal were all very delicious. We felt a warmth in the staff’s hospitality that isn’t swayed by changing times, and it made us feel pleasantly nostalgic. It’s a wonderful Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

It’s very quiet—around the lobby, in the restaurant, and in the garden as well. It’s a space where you won’t be bothered by people or noise; that’s what makes this small property special, true to its name as an annex. We chose the smallest Room type, and it was more compact than we expected (in a good way). If you plan to spend a lot of time in your Room, a larger one facing the garden would be better. Breakfast is Nouvelle Époque despite (or perhaps because of) the intimate size. It feels more relaxed yet elegant than Toranomon. There are also Kyoto touches, and they even offer French toast—so we could enjoy that Okura feel too. Please let us stay again when we’re looking for a slow trip without trying to do too much!

I made the mistake of thinking I had booked the same Room as before, not realizing it had been completely renovated, and only noticed after entering. I hadn’t read the description carefully enough. It was my first time using a daybed, but it felt modern, and I’m satisfied with it in its own way. As for the in-room bath, last time it rained and we got caught in the rain while using the open-air bath, but this time it felt easier to use than before. However, adjusting the temperature is still a bit tricky. The meals were just as satisfying as before in both portion size and taste. Last time, simmered golden eye snapper was served at the end when I was already very full, so I couldn’t finish it, but this time it was served midway through and I was able to eat everything. That said, the seasoning of the spiny lobster dish didn’t quite suit two elderly guests like us. It felt overly elaborate and seemed to mask the lobster’s natural flavor. For us, something simpler like sashimi or simply grilled would have been better. Our attendant was a foreign national and did their best to explain each dish clearly, which we appreciated; casual conversation might be difficult though. It seems that staffing shortages have reached Hotels as well. We were impressed that you greeted us right as we drove in upon arrival and saw us off at departure—service that remained just as attentive as last time. If we have another chance to visit Izu, we would like to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here last March as well, and it was so amazing that I booked again. With beautiful ocean views from every room, you can relax and unwind with your dog. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, offering excellent value for money. The rice in particular was cooked perfectly—truly outstanding—and the seasonal chestnut rice was incredible! It would be even better with a hot spring, but the bath with an ocean view was wonderful too. With an affordable price, lovely rooms, and great meals, this is a place I want to keep coming back to.
