I was truly impressed by the breakfast. First of all, the staff’s greetings were very pleasant, and the breakfast was beautifully served in small individual dishes—so you just had to pick them up. Everything felt exceptionally clean, neat, stylish, and I was impressed from start to finish. Being able to enjoy that kind of breakfast at that price felt like a real luxury! It stood out far above any Business Hotel I’ve stayed at before. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here (visit date: August 17), and it turned into a truly wonderful experience that far exceeded my expectations. I arrived around 4:00 PM, and the staff welcomed me warmly with smiles. From the moment before check-in, I could already feel their outstanding hospitality. When showing me to my Room, they even told me the sunset time for that day—such thoughtful attention to detail. I took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze was incredibly refreshing. After the walk, I enjoyed a bath in my Room with a beach view. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an unforgettable panorama! I also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing waves was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was exceptional from start to finish, filled with care and craftsmanship throughout. Every dish made wonderful use of seasonal ingredients—such as lightly seared locally caught grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out beautifully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaves with miso was superb, as were the three-tuna tasting and tilefish served with citrus vinegar. Even dessert—from Karatsu milk and cheese pudding—was deeply satisfying; it was an outstanding course overall. Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you would expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to the staff’s attentive yet comfortable service throughout, I started my day feeling truly happy and fulfilled. The location, spectacular baths with incredible views, exquisite cuisine, and warm hospitality—all of it is perfect at this exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely be back again.

Perhaps because there were few guests that day, the staff provided exceptionally attentive service, and it was truly comfortable to stay there. If I visit Oga again in the future, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed here because I wanted to enjoy hot spring hopping in Nyuto Onsenkyo. I arrived before check-in, but they kindly lent me towels for the hot spring tour, which I really appreciated. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spacious and clean, so I could relax and stay very comfortably. What impressed me most was being able to enjoy two different types of hot spring water—Nyuto Onsen and Tazawako Kogen—in one hotel. The open-air bath was also wonderful, and I could fully enjoy soaking in the midst of nature that’s unique to Nyuto Onsenkyo. That said, the open-air bath at night was quite dark, and I felt a bit uneasy going in alone. A little more lighting around the footing and surroundings would make it even more relaxing and safe. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent as well. Not only was there a wide selection, but each dish felt carefully prepared, and everything I tried was delicious. It was such a satisfying meal that I couldn’t help wanting to try a bit of everything. Nyuto Onsenkyo has many charming traditional inns, each with its own appeal. Among them, Kyukamura stands out for the well-equipped facilities and ease of staying that come with a larger hotel, making it a place where you can feel at ease throughout your visit. For anyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere of hidden hot springs and onsen hopping while still spending their time at the hotel in comfort and relaxation, this is a highly recommended place to stay.

A tranquil, standalone inn in Inami, selected by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the “50 Quiet Places in the World.” The houses lining the approach to Zuisenji Temple were each adorned with intricate wood carvings. We were thoroughly satisfied with the course meal featuring local ingredients, complemented by a refreshing aroma of smoked flavors. Both the room and dining area felt calm and relaxing. We’d love to return.

The hot springs, the meals, and the Room were all wonderful. We were also deeply impressed by the warm hospitality and welcoming smiles of all the staff. We would love to visit again!

We ordered the Kasumi crab course and an additional dish of white squid, and were worried it might not be enough, but the four of us in our 50s were completely full. Thank you for the wonderful meal. The white squid portion was also more than satisfying—one order for two people was plenty. The seaweed tsukudani we received as a souvenir was delicious, and the Kasumi crab sushi we reserved separately the day before was also excellent. Thank you very much.

I took a solo trip to Ureshino Onsen. While there are few Ryokan that cater to solo travelers, I found Shoen. It has the atmosphere of a classic Showa-era Ryokan, and both the meals and the hot spring water were excellent. Since there were not many guests, I was able to relax in the open-air bath as if it were reserved just for me. I highly recommend this Accommodation for solo travel. Thank you very much.

We stayed on the last day of Silver Week with my son. It was a stay to celebrate him, and when we entered the Room, we found a thoughtful gesture from the Hotel, which truly moved him. Every member of the Hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles and professional service, and we could feel the tradition of this long-established Hotel that represents our country. The view from the Room was also wonderful—Osaka Castle spread out right before us—and simply staying there felt like an extraordinary escape. On our way home, my son seemed to have really fallen in love with New Otani as well. We sincerely appreciate the service and stay that exceeded the price. Thank you very much.

Being welcomed back with “Welcome home” always puts me at ease from the moment I arrive at the front desk. It was very crowded during the Silver Week holidays, but even so, the staff’s warm hospitality—such as wiping my rain-soaked suitcase with a spotless white towel—meant so much to me. The bath was just right, and as always, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it was the food or the wine, I truly enjoyed a deeply satisfying time. I have an intense workload ahead through next year, but when I’m worn out again, I’d love to come back for some relaxation.

The Okinawa Fair and the tuna carving show were amazing! This was our second visit during summer vacation, and it was so delicious that we’d love for you to hold it again next year. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable, and no matter how many times we visit in a year, we never get tired of it. The warm smiles and attentive hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff are so comforting and relaxing that every time we come, we find ourselves wanting to return again soon. We’ll be back before the end of the year—thank you very much.

On October 15, I stayed at Nara Hotel with my niece, traveling from Tokyo to attend the tea offering ceremony held as part of the Lusana Buddha statue dedication commemorative service at the Great Buddha Hall of Todai-ji Temple. From the staff who welcomed us to the front desk team, everyone was kind and courteous, and we enjoyed a very comfortable two-night stay. For breakfast, I had chagayu (tea porridge) on the first morning; every dish made with local Nara ingredients was delicious. The next day I chose a Western-style breakfast, which was also well balanced, and I finished everything both days. I love Nara, so when I visit again, I would definitely like to stay at Nara Hotel.

Congratulations on your 102nd anniversary. This time, I stayed with you to enjoy a relaxing girls’ trip with my mother and to visit my aunt the next day. I truly love your baths. The space isn’t large, but the tub is just the right depth. I can’t quite explain why, but it feels wonderful. That depth also made it easier for my mother, who has trouble with her legs, to get in. (Hotel bathtubs are often shallow; she can get in, but standing up to get out is difficult and often a struggle.) In addition, even when sitting on a shower chair, she can still reach the amenities in your bath area. There is also enough space beside the tub to place toiletries, which was very helpful. If I may ask for one thing, having grab bars by the bathtub would be perfect—but overall I feel your bath is simple yet thoughtfully designed. Once again, we had a wonderful time chatting late into the night while enjoying the beautiful view, sleeping soundly, and making great memories. Thank you very much. P.S. This was my first stay in 50 years since visiting with my family as a child. The main building, full of fond memories, was wonderful, and the views and facilities in the new wing where we stayed were excellent. We also enjoyed the delicious dishes made with local ingredients, making it a truly memorable summer getaway. It’s very far from home, but I hope to return someday.

We stayed with our 18-month-old daughter and two adults. As an official hotel, they offered excellent service: we could leave our luggage at the Welcome Center at Maihama Station and have it delivered directly to our room, and when checking our bags we were able to request that the beds be moved to the side and fitted with a bed guard for our child. The bathroom was spacious and had a separate washing area, which was also very helpful when traveling with a child. We had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and we were very satisfied. The value for money was outstanding, so we would love to stay again.

Our first Disney trip in a while as a parent and child. Even though we ended up staying until the park closed and checked in close to 10:00 p.m., the staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles. The room was very comfortable, the view was fantastic, and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options—I ate far more than I intended. We would love to stay again next time. This was my first stay on an all-inclusive plan. From 3:00 PM, craft beer was available with unlimited refills; from 5:00 PM, we enjoyed the sauna; and from 7:00 PM, we had a course dinner—making for a truly fulfilling experience. *The sauna requires a separate reservation! With lounge access and late-night soba service available until 10:00 PM, I highly recommend this hotel as an all-inclusive option. I’d love to stay again.

Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was wonderful! The breakfast buffet was also incredibly lavish! I was busy with personal plans in the evening and couldn’t make it to the bar, which I really regret—so next time I’d like to stay again and take my time! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband (an American who loves hot springs) and I had a very satisfying 3-day, 2-night stay. We enjoyed relaxed breakfasts and dinners in a private dining room, and we especially loved having sushi freshly made right in front of us. The room was spacious, and the sofa was very large, so we could truly unwind. If we come back to Kusatsu Onsen again, we would love to stay at Naraya again.

The hotel was easy to reach right after arriving at Maihama Station, and it was extremely convenient for getting to Disneyland. The staff were courteous at both check-in and check-out, making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western buffet, with dishes replenished frequently, which left a great impression. Above all, being able to see Bon Voyage from the room window was amazing—it felt like staying in the Disney world all night long. I was satisfied with everything: the location, the staff service, and the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Maihama.
