We stayed for one night and two days. After passing Kurokawa Onsen, the Accommodation appeared quietly tucked away. Inside was very clean with an elegant atmosphere. The Room had tatami flooring and a bright, stylish design. It seemed everyone was spending a relaxing time in their Rooms. The open-air bath was spacious, and no matter when we went in, we had it all to ourselves—such a luxurious time. The water quality was excellent, and we were very satisfied. The meals were well balanced and truly delicious. Since it is not in an Onsen town, this Accommodation is recommended for those who want to rest and relax at the Accommodation.

I reserved a Room on the side with views of the Shimanami Kaido. The view was wonderful, and at night the illuminated Onomichi Bridge was beautiful—I kept the curtains open and enjoyed it for hours. Mukaishima was right in front of me, which sparked my interest, so I took a ferry over the next day and explored. The in-room amenities were minimal, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable.

I was in Fukuoka with my daughters, and each of us had our own plans. We searched for a place where the three of us could stay together, with free parking and reasonable rates, and decided on Vessel Fukuoka Kaizuka. We really appreciated their hospitality. My daughters were happy and said it was the best Business Hotel they’ve stayed at so far. The Room was clean. Plenty of power outlets. A separate washbasin area apart from the bath/toilet. You can see outside through the window. A good selection of amenities. Two trash bins. Shoes-off indoors. They were really excited about all of that.

I was truly impressed by the breakfast. First of all, the staff’s greetings were very pleasant, and the breakfast was beautifully served in small individual dishes—so you just had to pick them up. Everything felt exceptionally clean, neat, stylish, and I was impressed from start to finish. Being able to enjoy that kind of breakfast at that price felt like a real luxury! It stood out far above any Business Hotel I’ve stayed at before. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here (visit date: August 17), and it turned into a truly wonderful experience that far exceeded my expectations. I arrived around 4:00 PM, and the staff welcomed me warmly with smiles. From the moment before check-in, I could already feel their outstanding hospitality. When showing me to my Room, they even told me the sunset time for that day—such thoughtful attention to detail. I took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze was incredibly refreshing. After the walk, I enjoyed a bath in my Room with a beach view. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an unforgettable panorama! I also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing waves was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was exceptional from start to finish, filled with care and craftsmanship throughout. Every dish made wonderful use of seasonal ingredients—such as lightly seared locally caught grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out beautifully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaves with miso was superb, as were the three-tuna tasting and tilefish served with citrus vinegar. Even dessert—from Karatsu milk and cheese pudding—was deeply satisfying; it was an outstanding course overall. Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you would expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to the staff’s attentive yet comfortable service throughout, I started my day feeling truly happy and fulfilled. The location, spectacular baths with incredible views, exquisite cuisine, and warm hospitality—all of it is perfect at this exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely be back again.

I loved the Japanese-modern exterior and the chic, calming interior. The guest room had a high ceiling, and the alcove lantern added a wonderful Japanese ambiance—I could really feel the good taste in the design. I heard there are only about 10 rooms in total, so the Onsen was never crowded and I could soak at my leisure. Dinner featured a wide variety of dishes using summer vegetables, seasonal fish, and local ingredients; I was very satisfied with the gentle seasoning. The edamame potage is something I’d love to have again. Breakfast also offered plenty of options and more than enough food—above all, the rice was delicious. From welcome to farewell, I felt truly high-quality service in every interaction with the staff. It was a stay that reminded me how glad I am to choose a Ryokan again after such a long time. Highly recommended Accommodation!

It was a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, and the wide selection of sake is heaven for sake lovers. Thank you to the staff for their excellent hospitality. The only disappointment was that our schedule didn’t allow us to use the open-air bath. We’ll be back.

Perhaps because there were few guests that day, the staff provided exceptionally attentive service, and it was truly comfortable to stay there. If I visit Oga again in the future, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed here because I wanted to enjoy hot spring hopping in Nyuto Onsenkyo. I arrived before check-in, but they kindly lent me towels for the hot spring tour, which I really appreciated. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spacious and clean, so I could relax and stay very comfortably. What impressed me most was being able to enjoy two different types of hot spring water—Nyuto Onsen and Tazawako Kogen—in one hotel. The open-air bath was also wonderful, and I could fully enjoy soaking in the midst of nature that’s unique to Nyuto Onsenkyo. That said, the open-air bath at night was quite dark, and I felt a bit uneasy going in alone. A little more lighting around the footing and surroundings would make it even more relaxing and safe. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent as well. Not only was there a wide selection, but each dish felt carefully prepared, and everything I tried was delicious. It was such a satisfying meal that I couldn’t help wanting to try a bit of everything. Nyuto Onsenkyo has many charming traditional inns, each with its own appeal. Among them, Kyukamura stands out for the well-equipped facilities and ease of staying that come with a larger hotel, making it a place where you can feel at ease throughout your visit. For anyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere of hidden hot springs and onsen hopping while still spending their time at the hotel in comfort and relaxation, this is a highly recommended place to stay.

We went car camping in West Izu to celebrate my retirement, and since my wife only eats dinner, we couldn’t visit local restaurants for fresh fish at lunchtime—so we made a Reservation here to enjoy a more luxurious dinner. I also had a faint memory that we may have stayed near Koibito Misaki about 30 years ago, and it seems the chef’s son has taken over. The meal began with a boat platter featuring splendid alfonsino, local fish, crab, and spiny lobster, followed by French cuisine—everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied. As this is a pension-style Accommodation, the Facility is not brand-new, but we could feel thoughtful attention to detail throughout and were able to spend a wonderful time here. We would love to stay again.

The Room interior and hospitality were outstanding. The cuisine was especially excellent, with a course featuring local vegetables, rice, and meat. It made for a truly wonderful anniversary.

The hot springs, the meals, and the Room were all wonderful. We were also deeply impressed by the warm hospitality and welcoming smiles of all the staff. We would love to visit again!

I took a solo trip to Ureshino Onsen. While there are few Ryokan that cater to solo travelers, I found Shoen. It has the atmosphere of a classic Showa-era Ryokan, and both the meals and the hot spring water were excellent. Since there were not many guests, I was able to relax in the open-air bath as if it were reserved just for me. I highly recommend this Accommodation for solo travel. Thank you very much.

We stayed on the last day of Silver Week with my son. It was a stay to celebrate him, and when we entered the Room, we found a thoughtful gesture from the Hotel, which truly moved him. Every member of the Hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles and professional service, and we could feel the tradition of this long-established Hotel that represents our country. The view from the Room was also wonderful—Osaka Castle spread out right before us—and simply staying there felt like an extraordinary escape. On our way home, my son seemed to have really fallen in love with New Otani as well. We sincerely appreciate the service and stay that exceeded the price. Thank you very much.

Being welcomed back with “Welcome home” always puts me at ease from the moment I arrive at the front desk. It was very crowded during the Silver Week holidays, but even so, the staff’s warm hospitality—such as wiping my rain-soaked suitcase with a spotless white towel—meant so much to me. The bath was just right, and as always, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it was the food or the wine, I truly enjoyed a deeply satisfying time. I have an intense workload ahead through next year, but when I’m worn out again, I’d love to come back for some relaxation.

The Okinawa Fair and the tuna carving show were amazing! This was our second visit during summer vacation, and it was so delicious that we’d love for you to hold it again next year. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable, and no matter how many times we visit in a year, we never get tired of it. The warm smiles and attentive hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff are so comforting and relaxing that every time we come, we find ourselves wanting to return again soon. We’ll be back before the end of the year—thank you very much.

This was my 8th stop on a classic Hotel tour. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I ended up extending my stay—spending three nights and four days in two rooms in the main building: Premium Classic and Premium Panorama Corner. Both Rooms were excellent, but personally I especially loved the ambiance of the Premium Classic. The Premium Panorama Corner has a sofa, so it’s great for relaxing. And since we were on the first floor this time, we could see deer up close outside the window in the morning and evening—they were adorable. The entire building has a charming design that truly conveys its history, and I found myself forgetting how time was passing just by looking around. With such a beautiful building, delicious food, and friendly staff, I was completely satisfied—three nights and four days still didn’t feel like enough. Now that the West Wing has reopened after renovation, I’d love to stay there next time. Nara Park is also within walking distance, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. The deer are cute and everyone is kind—Nara was amazing.

The location is right in front of the station and easy to find, and the Room was spacious and relaxing. The amenities were high quality, and everything was very comfortable. Free drinks and snacks in the lobby were available for guests to enjoy freely, which felt generous rather than stingy—much appreciated. All the staff were full of hospitality. A highly recommended Accommodation.

My spouse, our younger daughter, and my 88-year-old mother stayed for one night. The arrival briefing was thorough and easy to understand, and whenever we had questions—at any time and in any place—the staff always responded accurately and courteously. What made us happiest was celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday at the restaurant: they kindly treated us to a special dish with sea bream, red rice, and sake. They also provided my husband with a purple outfit and took a commemorative family photo for us. It became a wonderful celebration, and we were deeply moved by the restaurant team’s thoughtful hospitality. The food was excellent, especially the fresh seafood. We also really enjoyed the Awa Odori event.\nThanks to everyone at the Hotel and restaurant, it was a truly memorable trip, and we are sincerely grateful.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our stay. As it was just after the reopening, the Facility felt brand new, and we were able to spend our time comfortably in a clean environment. In the large public bath, the scent of wood instantly helped us unwind, and the ocean view through the full-height windows was breathtaking. Even though we were on the east side of the Boso Peninsula, we were surprised to be able to see the sun setting—and it was so beautiful that we couldn’t take our eyes off it. It truly deserves its place among “Japan’s 100 Best Accommodations with Sunset Views.” The rooftop open-air bath we used before bed was softly lit with indirect lighting and had a calm atmosphere. Soaking while listening to the sound of water flowing into the tub made all our everyday fatigue melt away, and we could relax from the bottom of our hearts. It was a wonderfully soothing moment. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The new dining venue had a Japanese-inspired design, creating a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable space. Dinner was served half-buffet style. We were first served sashimi, beautifully presented with an impressively fresh taste. We were also surprised to be served abalone and splendid alfonsino (kinmedai). The abalone remained tender even when grilled, and the kinmedai had an elegant flavor. The buffet also featured an excellent live kitchen: tempura was freshly fried, and there was even Kazusa beef steak. Both were tender, making for a highly satisfying dinner. Breakfast was also buffet-style, and we were amazed by how extensive the selection was. In addition to standard items like salads, there were also sashimi and overnight-dried fish. The turban shell curry (sazae curry) left a lasting impression with its rich flavor, and the nikujaga comforted us with its gentle taste. At the live kitchen they made omelets for us—large portions with great volume—another very satisfying dish. Our Room was spacious and spotless. Above all, through wall-to-wall glass windows stretching across one entire side of the Room, there was nothing but ocean—so much so that we found ourselves sitting in chairs simply gazing outside for quite some time. Fireworks were launched from right in front of us at the fishing port as well—it was incredibly powerful up close. We had never seen fireworks from such close range before, making it an unforgettable experience. And most impressive of all was truly the service provided by your staff. We felt thoughtful attention everywhere throughout our stay; their hospitality was consistently attentive. It made for an extremely comfortable visit—a day we were completely satisfied with. When we visit Kamogawa again, we would love to stay here again.
