I used Villa Fontaine for the first time because they serve Soup Stock Tokyo soups. I later looked it up and found that this is the only Villa Fontaine where you can have Soup Stock Tokyo soup. The breakfast selection isn’t very large compared with other hotels. If I remember correctly, it was about two kinds of soup, 4–5 kinds of bread, salad, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, yogurt, fruit and jelly desserts, and drinks. There was no rice. A wide variety of breakfast options is appealing, but I always worry about food waste when there’s too much left over, so this felt more than sufficient. There are two self check-in machines. A staff member was assisting the guest ahead of me at one machine the whole time; that itself wasn’t an issue. However, my check-in screen loaded very slowly and it took about 10 minutes to complete. Partway through a staff member said something like “Mr./Ms. ***, thank you for waiting…” so I assume they could see who was trying to check in from the back office. I don’t know whether someone needs to operate the system behind the scenes for it to proceed, but if they already knew my name, I wish they could have helped resolve it. Only twin rooms were available at the time, so although I was traveling alone I stayed in a twin room. Even though this was a business trip and I wanted to use my laptop in the room, there was only a small table (about 40–50 cm square), so it wasn’t suitable for working with both a laptop and an external monitor spread out. That was my choice though. Because it was a twin room it felt slightly more spacious overall, which made it comfortable in that respect. The mattress firmness suited me well. I’d be happy to stay again if I have another opportunity.

This was the only place I found, and I had heard there would be construction, but there was no noise. If the construction hadn't started yet, it might be better not to mention it during check-in as it could cause unnecessary concern.

Because my previous stay was so wonderful, I decided to return. Last time I traveled alone, and this time I stayed with my sister; we were both very satisfied with how convenient and clean everything was. I chose a plan that included a Japanese-style breakfast box, and since I usually prefer Western food I was a bit worried, but everything tasted great. In particular, the sweet-simmered ayu was so tender that even someone like me who isn’t fond of simmered fish could enjoy it. The staff kindly showed us how to heat the box properly, which was very helpful, and we also received complimentary miso soup, making breakfast even more satisfying. I’d love to stay here again when visiting the Mie area next time.

The parking location was a bit difficult to find during our car trip. However, the reception staff and parking attendants kindly guided us, and we were able to park without any issues. We only had breakfast, but it was very delicious—possibly the best among all the accommodations we've stayed at!

Although the building exterior looks old, the room was newly renovated and modern. I used to live nearby and know the area well, so I usually stay around here when visiting Tokyo; compared with other properties in the neighborhood, the room was very spacious and comfortable. Checkout is also at 11:00 a.m., which gave me plenty of time, and I plan to stay here for future trips to Tokyo.

This is my third stay, as I have returned for the great location and hospitality since my previous visit. The amenities are well stocked, from makeup remover to skincare, and the Hotel staff are very courteous, making it a place where you can stay with peace of mind. It is especially quiet at night, and close to COREDO and Mitsukoshi, with the Ginza Line subway nearby as well. Only smoking Rooms were available, but when I requested a non-smoking Room despite knowing it might be difficult, they kindly accommodated my request. The Room was comfortable and Wi-Fi worked well. I would like to stay again.

The large public bath includes an open-air bath, with clear, silky-smooth water. There are plenty of washing stations. The open-air bath allows you to lie back, and on rainy days it was pleasantly cool and refreshing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes including grilled fish; even taking small portions, there was more than enough to finish, and everything was delicious.

I stayed alone in a clean 10-tatami Room. The futon was already prepared, which was very helpful. At the restaurant, I ordered with a Kansai-style image in mind, and was surprised when a large draft beer arrived in the size from 30 years ago. I figured I’d have to go izakaya-style with small dishes so I could finish it (though I did). I plan to visit the area occasionally, so I’ll be back again.

Thanks to the young female staff member at the front desk who kindly gave us detailed directions to the surrounding roads, we were able to enjoy sightseeing in Hakone without any trouble. We could also see Mt. Fuji from our Room, and the Onsen was very relaxing. We would love to stay again.

The property was better maintained and cleaner than I expected from the exterior. The meals were generous, and the rice in particular was delicious. The international staff were well trained, and their friendly service with a smile was very pleasant.

The Facility is not the newest, but it has been renovated, kept very clean, and fully equipped with everything you need. The amenities were also well stocked, and there were even bath salts in the Room, which made the stay very comfortable. Having a separate bathroom and toilet is another big plus.

This was our second stay, and once again it’s a wonderful Accommodation! First of all, the owner at reception? was cheerful and very pleasant. The Room and the bath were both very clean and hygienic. The meals were just the right portion size, easy to digest, and even my elderly parents finished everything (haha). Last time we stayed as a couple and had an upstairs Room, but this time we were given a first-floor Room closest to the bath. I’m sure this was thoughtful consideration for my elderly parents. It really helped us a lot. On departure as well, you kindly took my mother by the hand and chatted with her about various things—she was delighted and seemed completely satisfied. It became a wonderful way to show appreciation to my parents. Thank you so much! Just one thing… The mattress in the bedding was thin, so my body hurt… I know it may sound picky after all your kindness, but I wanted to share it as feedback… We were able to spend a truly memorable time. Thank you very much!

We stayed here for a family trip to Universal Studios Japan. It’s just one stop from USJ, so the location was excellent, and there were okonomiyaki restaurants and izakayas nearby, making it easy to find places to eat. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and they kindly stored our luggage, but the staff member who assisted us seemed reluctant. Also, when we tried to fill the bathtub, we noticed the inside of the tub felt rough with soap scum, which was our only concern.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. I rated the bath 4 stars because there is no large public bath, but I had no complaints about the in-room bath. Both check-in and luggage storage before and after check-out were smooth, and the location was very convenient, so I think I will stay again. Thank you very much.

By chance, I was able to make a Reservation for Suite Room 401 and stayed on September 6. The Room was absolutely gorgeous! It was so spacious it felt like too much for just two people. The TV had Amazon Prime available, and we relaxed while watching the movie “National Treasure.” The food was also excellent!! At the dinner buffet, everything—Japanese, Western, and Chinese—was delicious, with so many options that we couldn’t try them all. The all-you-can-eat salmon roe was especially satisfying.

First of all, the renovated three-bedroom room was excellent! Our child was thrilled, and we loved the large, easy-to-watch TV and the beautiful indirect lighting behind the sink. The restroom was also very clean, and we were able to stay comfortably. Since it was Saturday, we also enjoyed a band performance in the lobby by the proprietress, and had a wonderful time together as a family. One small thing we noticed was that the Onsen temperature felt a bit lukewarm. However, it may have been just right for our child. We also wanted to buy milk after bathing, but it wasn’t available for purchase, which was a little disappointing. We would have been even happier if milk had been available after using the Onsen. At dinner, we ran into a few challenges that come with traveling with children, but all of the staff kindly helped us in various ways, which was truly appreciated. We are very grateful for your warm hospitality. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and our whole family had a great time. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I’d known about this Hotel for a long time, but this was my first stay. From Kokusai-dori, I thought it might not be that large, but it’s actually a very big Hotel. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were very pleasant. It rained throughout my stay, but I was able to spend the whole time comfortably, and I’m glad I chose to stay here. The breakfast buffet was also excellent—not only Okinawan dishes, but also freshly baked croissants that I went back for again and again. If I have the chance, I’d definitely like to stay here again.

It’s located past the hospital from Kochibashi Bridge. It’s also within walking distance from the station. The Room was clean and comfortable. There is also a large public bath, and I really appreciated being able to soak in it after walking a lot. The staff were friendly and welcoming.\nSince I stayed for two nights, the breakfast menu changed, which made it easy to enjoy. People of a wide range of ages—from younger staff to more experienced seniors—were working there, and everyone carried out their roles properly.\nIf I have the chance to visit Kochi again, I’d like to stay here again.

I stayed for three nights in early September. All of the staff were pleasant, kind, and efficient, which left a great impression. The location was convenient with good transport access, and there were several convenience stores and commercial buildings nearby. I plan to stay here again next time.
