I finally got to visit my favorite oyster Accommodation, “Ikadaso,” which I’d been wanting to try for a long time. The summer rock oysters were huge and so creamy! The full-course oyster meal was incredible—absolutely delicious. From the phone support to the welcome pickup and the meal service, everything was pleasant and made for a very satisfying stay. I’d love to come again. We also enjoyed sabiki fishing from the raft and caught mackerel and horse mackerel.

I stayed for three nights. The building itself may be a little old, but the Room, washbasin area, toilet, and bath were all clean and well maintained. There was also a large public bath, which was convenient. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. I left my key each time I went out, and even with frequent comings and goings they always responded warmly, which I appreciated. There was also a spacious parking lot right next to the Hotel, making it easy to park. You could even see a bit of the ocean from the Room! Above all, because it is located in the city center, it was very convenient for dining and shopping. I would like to stay again next time.

This is truly one of my favorite Hotels, directly connected to Osaki Station with excellent transportation access. This time I had plans in Omotesando and also went to Shibuya, Shinagawa, and Yurakucho, and the location was perfect for getting around. The price including breakfast was a great value. As I always mention, if there were just one more something at breakfast, I think I would like it even more. More Hotels are putting extra effort into their breakfast these days, so please consider it.

We stayed here for our family trip at the end of summer vacation. It was a special Room—the only one of its kind in the Hotel. It had the space of two Rooms plus a living area, and an exceptionally large bathroom—about the size of another Room—with a spacious bathtub where you can fully stretch out, as well as a separate shower room. The bubble-bath function had been removed, but features such as the marble flooring gave it a very luxurious feel. There were also private stairs, a ramp, and an exclusive corridor leading to this special Room, with outstanding attention to privacy. From the Room, we enjoyed breathtaking views over all of Lake Megami and the surrounding mountains. There were three large TVs, which delighted our children, and we could use the air conditioning as well, so we stayed comfortable throughout our visit. The public bath included an open-air bath and even two saunas, and the lockers were clean. From the open-air bath we could look out over Lake Megami and the mountains while relaxing in the Onsen. We enjoyed cooling off in the cold bath, watching clouds drift by, and taking our time to fully appreciate Tateshina Onsen. As it was peak season, both dinner and breakfast were buffet only; while there weren’t many items overall, each dish was truly delicious. The coffee did not seem to be freshly drip-brewed from a machine like those found at some buffets, so having a coffee machine would be nice. Next time we are very much looking forward to trying kaiseki cuisine at the basement-level restaurant as well. As an IKYU.com Diamond member benefit I requested late check-out; unfortunately it wasn’t possible due to peak season demand. Still, this is such a wonderful Hotel that we wanted to stay even longer—the Room was beautiful, spacious, and impressive in every way. Thank you also for the Diamond member gifts (a bottle of wine and souvenirs from Nagano). Since in Parking Lot No. 1 the wheelchair-priority space is shared with EV charging spaces, I think it would be better to separate them so that enough spaces can be secured to meet nighttime EV charging demand while keeping accessible parking available at all times. We arrived at 11:00 and completed check-in procedures first; the front desk staff were excellent. We requested early check-in but it wasn’t possible due to peak season; however when keys became available before 3:00 p.m., they were handed out in order of completion of procedures—so arriving early was worthwhile for us after all. We will be staying in this same Room again in the future as well; thank you in advance from our whole family for your continued hospitality. Thank you very much to all staff members.”

Thank you for kindly accommodating our request for an early check-in due to the bad weather in advance. During our stay, the Hotel was clean and we really enjoyed it. I also had a great time with the friend I was traveling with. The teppanyaki dinner was delicious as well. Breakfast was also very tasty and we were very satisfied. We would love to visit again next time.

My mother, my sister, and I stayed here together. The Room with an open-air bath was very clean, and the bath was equipped with a step stool and a chair, so my elderly mother could use it safely. The meals were delicious, and my mother was so satisfied that she finished everything. We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed in the Yunagi Room this time! The Room was beautiful and spotless, with a great sense of cleanliness. It also had a private bath, and the view was amazing! Meals were served in a private dining room, featuring sea bream, abalone, spiny lobster, and Matsusaka beef—far too luxurious for me—and we enjoyed a delicious and wonderful time. The hospitality from the experienced attendant during meals was truly outstanding. The front desk staff were also flexible and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The allergy accommodations were excellent, and although I may have caused you some extra trouble, I truly felt how attentive your service was. We’d love to stay again.

I’d been curious about the fruit sandwiches here for a while, and by staying this time I finally got to try them. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a great variety of both Japanese and Western dishes, which I really enjoyed. Everything I tried was delicious. The fruit sandwiches were excellent too—the cream was lightly sweetened, and the fruit was fresh and tasty. There were also smoothies and green juice, so the drink selection felt well stocked. The location was great: quiet yet convenient for shopping, which I loved. The amenities were SEKKISEI, which was a nice touch. The shampoo had a sweet almond scent that felt very relaxing.

I visited here as a child, and this time I came back to my hometown and stayed with my son and my parents. The Hotel has been beautifully renovated, so it felt quite different, but I enjoyed the nostalgic kawara soba and visited the lounge for the first time. We were able to relax together as a family, and even with just one night we were completely satisfied. The bath in the Room was great, and the private open-air bath was also amazing. The meals were delicious as well, and I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Breakfast was a choice of Japanese, Western, or a Sasebo Burger, plus a buffet as well—very satisfying. I couldn’t eat a Sasebo Burger the day before, so I never expected to be able to have one in the morning!

A parent-and-child trip by car. We stayed here as our first Accommodation on a round-Hokkaido journey. The Accommodation shows a bit of age in places, but it is solidly built, and above all, the beautiful view of Lake Toya spreading out from the Room window was outstanding. (We also enjoyed the fireworks at night.) The meals were more than satisfying in both variety and taste for breakfast and dinner. The baths were wonderful as well—the open-air bath was very relaxing, and the cave bath in particular felt unique to us and had great atmosphere, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were kind, too, and I can confidently recommend this as a great Accommodation.

We stayed here for my wife’s slightly belated birthday trip. I last visited Iwakuni when I was around 10 years old, but this was my first time staying overnight. Dinner was the Chef’s Special / Gourmet Kaiseki, and everything was delicious. The sashimi in particular was outstanding—I could really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. We travel about 20 nights a year, and this was the best sashimi we’ve had. Our Room was a 20-tatami Japanese-style room with a view of Kintaikyo Bridge. Since we go to bed at different times, it was very convenient for us and we were satisfied overall. One concern was that the bathroom area (toilet and washbasin) felt quite outdated, so it wasn’t as comfortable to use. If it were renovated to the same standard as the restroom near the dining area on the 2nd floor, it would have been an even better stay. Thank you very much for preparing a birthday gift for my wife, and also for sending my wallet back to our home after I mistakenly left it in the valuables box. We truly enjoyed Iwakuni again after more than 50 years. Lastly, several young men who assisted us at dinner were wearing “In Training” badges. Their explanations of each dish were sometimes hesitant, but seeing how hard they worked felt refreshing. A word from someone older: “Keep it up, rookies!”

The Room was very spacious, and the children were thrilled as soon as we arrived. During dinner, one of our children suddenly felt unwell, and we really appreciated how quickly you brought towels, a bag, and a chair so we could sit in the hallway. Once they felt better, our child said they want to stay again. Thank you very much.

The breakfast was more substantial than I expected, which increased my overall satisfaction. However, the way the person at the front desk greeted guests in the morning felt a bit too casual for Hotel front desk staff. The Room and Facility are minimal, but with its convenient location near the station and breakfast included, it offers excellent value for money.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. It was a three-generation trip with my daughter and grandchild, and it became a great memory. We are truly grateful—thank you very much.

Free unlimited drinks. The amenities are well stocked. The Hotel is quiet, so it’s great for a solo stay! Men are on the 8th floor and women are on the 9th floor. Both floors require a wrist key to enter, so it’s safe even for women traveling alone. There is also a smoking area on the 7th floor where the front desk is located. The capsule area is quiet and dark, so I slept well. I’d like to stay here again.

Breakfast: A delicious buffet featuring local specialties.

This was my first stay here (date of visit: August 17), and it far exceeded all expectations—it was a truly wonderful experience. We arrived around 4:00 p.m., and the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. From the moment we arrived, even before check-in, we could already feel their exceptional hospitality. I was also impressed by their thoughtful attention when they told us “today’s sunset time” as they guided us to our Room. We took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze made it the perfect refresh. After our walk, we enjoyed the bath in our Room with a view of the beach. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an incredibly beautiful panorama that left us speechless! We also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing wave sounds was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was outstanding from start to finish, filled with careful craftsmanship throughout. Every dish showcased seasonal ingredients beautifully—such as lightly seared grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out wonderfully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaf with miso, a comparison tasting of three kinds of tuna, and tilefish served with citrus vinegar were all exquisite—and I was completely satisfied all the way through dessert (Karatsu milk and cheese pudding). Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you’d expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to how attentively and kindly the staff checked on us throughout, we started our day feeling truly happy. With its location, spectacular baths with incredible views, superb cuisine, and warm hospitality—all perfectly delivered—this is an exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely return.
