Kikyotei Yumotoya

At the time of our same-day Reservation, I realized we were short by one guest and called in a panic, but they kindly accommodated us. When I asked the front desk for extra yukata and other items, they also responded promptly and courteously. The Room and Facility had a traditional, old-fashioned feel, but everything was well cleaned and well maintained. The friendly Shuttle Service driver and the receptionist were approachable, creating a warm atmosphere that felt comfortable and relaxing. The women’s indoor bath was too hot for me, but the open-air bath was just right. The air conditioning in the Room worked very well, making our stay comfortable.

While some signs of aging were noticeable in parts of the Facility, the Room’s wallpaper and tatami were well maintained, and I was happy with the bed. The food was delicious across the board, and I left completely full. The alcohol was also reasonably priced, so I was very satisfied. However, although the toilet slippers were clean, they felt a bit old-fashioned, so it might be worth replacing them. Everyone at the Ryokan was kind, and I’d like to visit again.
