    At the time of our same-day Reservation, I realized we were short by one guest and called in a panic, but they kindly accommodated us. When I asked the front desk for extra yukata and other items, they also responded promptly and courteously. The Room and Facility had a traditional, old-fashioned feel, but everything was well cleaned and well maintained. The friendly Shuttle Service driver and the receptionist were approachable, creating a warm atmosphere that felt comfortable and relaxing. The women’s indoor bath was too hot for me, but the open-air bath was just right. The air conditioning in the Room worked very well, making our stay comfortable.

  • Shinshu Trip

    I stayed here on a trip to Shinshu. The Facilities and interior feel a bit dated, but the Onsen was clean, as if it had been renovated. The meals were very generous, and I was extremely satisfied. The older staff member who served our meal made us feel at home, and I was happy that they even saw us off.\n\nAccommodation rates in central Matsumoto are high due to inbound tourism, so I appreciated that this Accommodation is about a 15-minute drive to Matsumoto Castle and also has an Onsen.\n\nOne minor point not related to the Hotel: the Onsen town feels old, and it was disappointing that there wasn’t much to do after check-in.

    Nagano Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax for stays at Accommodations located within the prefecture, applicable to stays from June 1, 2026 onward.

    From June 2026, in accordance with the Nagano Prefecture Accommodation Tax Ordinance, the Accommodation Tax will be charged separately from the Accommodation Fee.
    For an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more: JPY 200 (per person per night)
