Tabist Tsukuba Sky Hotel

I stayed at Tsukuba Sky Hotel for the first time for one night from Friday, September 18 to Saturday, September 19, 2026. The weather was great, and I could see the sacred Mt. Tsukuba right in front of me—the view was amazing. In the evening I had the Hotel’s special hot dog, and the next morning I enjoyed breakfast dishes such as simmered foods; everything was very delicious. I would like to stay again next year.

The building is old and has a retro Showa-era feel, but it was very clean. There were many services, such as welcome water, an ice exchange voucher, canned tea, canned coffee, nighttime service beer and a late-night snack, and a free breakfast. The disappointing point was the air conditioner.Although the Room had been renovated, the air conditioner was old and did not allow fine airflow adjustment. Even after turning it off, there was mechanical noise for a while, and occasionally water dripped from it.Since it was directly above the pillow, it startled me.
