Hotel Dankoen

I usually stay at Itoen Group properties, but this time I tried staying here with a breakfast-included Plan!There are various shops nearby, so not having dinner included was no problem at all.I came by motorcycle, and it was raining quite heavily on the day of checkout, so when I told them I wanted to extend my stay, they looked into options and arranged it for me.The staff were very helpful, and I had a very satisfying stay.Next time, I’d like to try the Plan with dinner included.

I was amazed at how spotless everything was, both in the room and throughout the property (especially for such a large Hotel).The large public bath was spacious and comfortable.I ended up lying down in the post-bath lounge for over 30 minutes and dozing off—it was very relaxing.At first I thought the meal might be a little small, but it turned out to be just the right amount, with gentle flavors that I really enjoyed.The dashi in the miso soup was delicious.The beer glass size was just right.I would have liked a bit more sashimi (I wonder if I could have ordered extra).The futon was also very comfortable, and I slept soundly.The breakfast buffet had just the right number of items, which suited me well.The grilled dried horse mackerel was delicious—so were the salted seafood delicacies.Every staff member provided warm, well-balanced service.The person who provided Shuttle Service seemed to be in a managerial role; I truly appreciated their careful driving and kind words.Overall, it was professional hospitality through and through.It made for a wonderful trip.Thank you very much.This is another Hotel I’d love to visit again when I have the chance.
