  • Despite being a large Hotel, the entire property is kept clean and quiet.

    I was amazed at how spotless everything was, both in the room and throughout the property (especially for such a large Hotel).The large public bath was spacious and comfortable.I ended up lying down in the post-bath lounge for over 30 minutes and dozing off—it was very relaxing.At first I thought the meal might be a little small, but it turned out to be just the right amount, with gentle flavors that I really enjoyed.The dashi in the miso soup was delicious.The beer glass size was just right.I would have liked a bit more sashimi (I wonder if I could have ordered extra).The futon was also very comfortable, and I slept soundly.The breakfast buffet had just the right number of items, which suited me well.The grilled dried horse mackerel was delicious—so were the salted seafood delicacies.Every staff member provided warm, well-balanced service.The person who provided Shuttle Service seemed to be in a managerial role; I truly appreciated their careful driving and kind words.Overall, it was professional hospitality through and through.It made for a wonderful trip.Thank you very much.This is another Hotel I’d love to visit again when I have the chance.

  • Bathwater Volume

    It’s within easy walking distance from the station. There’s a convenience store right in front, and a drugstore a few buildings down, so shopping is very convenient. The building feels historic, but it was thoroughly cleaned and felt very fresh and spotless. Above all, the amount of hot water in the bath was impressive. I used it three times and it felt wonderful each time. I’m grateful they seated me by the window for dinner. Unusually for me, I went out after the meal and took a walk along the river near Tokaikan. I stopped by Wakaba for their famous soft-serve ice cream before heading back. I had chilled Shizuoka Beer in the fridge, but for some reason I didn’t feel like drinking it—maybe because it was still cold season. An Accommodation with reasonable rates and no unnecessary extras—you can tailor your stay to your liking. I’d love to visit again in summer.
