Imagine Hotel & Resort Hakodate

I chose this Hotel because it was very reasonably priced and the buffet looked great.It’s close to the highway bus stop, and it’s also close to the bus stop for buses back to Hakodate Station.This time we stayed in a Japanese-style room with a partial ocean view, and it even had a wooden-floored area—spacious enough that it felt almost too big for three people. There were no steps, and the toilet and shower room were clean.The buffet was excellent: crab, of course, plus beef tendon curry, handmade fried shrimp and shrimp mayo, and an unusual but delicious ohagi dessert.I’m more of a bread person, and the breakfast bread selection was wide-ranging, high quality, and very tasty.We stayed two nights, but the food was so good that we never got tired of it.I also appreciated having mineral water in the refrigerator.Since this is a popular Hotel that gets crowded with groups and families with children, I think you can stay comfortably by checking in early or adjusting your timing slightly for meals or the baths.The building is spacious, with various well-designed Facilities such as a lounge where you can enjoy good coffee and play areas. There are elevators for each of the four buildings as well, so we had a fun stay without any stress.Rather than cold service rigidly following chain-Hotel manuals, we felt warm hospitality throughout that was fairly flexible depending on the situation.I visit Hakodate often, and compared with staying at Hotels around Hakodate Station area, I was more satisfied staying at this Hotel—so I’d like to stay here again.

We stayed as three generations. First of all, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and we felt comfortable from arrival to departure.The shaved ice service also delighted the kids. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have been even happier with a few more welcome drink options.The meals were delicious with a nice contrast between dinner and breakfast. We also really enjoyed the table tennis. The Onsen was relaxing, and the view from our Room was soothing as well.Even though we made a mistake during the Reservation process, we truly appreciate how kindly you handled everything after we contacted you in advance.And with two meals included, this price range for this season offers excellent value for money.
