From the open-air observation bath on the 8th floor, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Tsugaru Strait, and on clear days you can also see the Shimokita Peninsula and the Tsugaru Peninsula. For dinner, savor snow crab. With Yunokawa’s most abundant natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source, bathing while taking in the spectacular scenery feels as if you are surrounded by the sea. All rooms are non-smoking; Japanese-Western style rooms feature two beds and an 8-tatami mat area in a spacious 38 m² ocean-view room.
We stayed as a family trip with five people spanning four generations. When we entered the Hotel, there were welcome drinks and cookies. The Room had an ocean view and was very clean. The Room also had its own toilet and shower. We used both the observation bath on the 8th floor and the large public bath on the 1st floor, and both were very relaxing. The dinner buffet had a wide variety of dishes; the steak was tender, and we enjoyed plenty of crab as well. The all-you-can-drink option could be used starting from just one person, so not everyone in our group needed to add it. Breakfast also offered many choices, including freshly baked salted rolls and salmon, and we ended up eating too much. We brought my mother to celebrate her birthday as well as her 77th birthday milestone, and she was very happy. After checkout, it was nice that we could walk to the monkey botanical garden next door—our grandchild loved it too. We would definitely like to stay again.

My daughter was bothered by an odor in the Room and wanted to open the window fully, but we were told it could only be opened a little for security reasons. I wish an alternative way to ventilate had been suggested… That was the only disappointment; everything else was excellent. The staff at the dining venue were especially memorable for their warm service. Thanks to you, our first day in Hokkaido became a wonderful memory. Thank you!
