HOTEL Meriken Port Kobe Motomachi

We stayed as a family. The family-type room with a bed and sofa was spacious and comfortable, especially with small children. However, the water stains on the walls and floor of the bathroom were quite noticeable. Since we specifically chose a separate toilet and bath type instead of a unit bath, we had higher expectations for cleanliness, which was disappointing. Although we were curious about the restaurant, we didn’t use it this time but hope to try it when our children are older!

I have been staying here every time I visit Osaka or Kobe in recent years. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, making it easy to access both Osaka and Kobe. Additionally, you can enjoy the atmosphere of Kobe as a port city with its Chinatown and shopping arcades nearby. This time, I anticipated rain and brought a folding umbrella, but it seemed insufficient for heavy rain. In such a situation, the kind staff informed me that they had vinyl umbrellas available, which I was able to use. Thank you very much!
