I happened to find this property on IKYU and visited looking forward to the meals, and it met my expectations.\nAfter check-in, we enjoyed tea and sweets in the lobby. Drinks throughout the property are all-inclusive—soft drinks, beer, and more—so you can have them whenever you like. The Room was clean, quiet, and very relaxing.\nDinner was a semi-order buffet. Every dish was creative and delicious, and we were very satisfied; however, by the time we worked our way through everything, the portions felt a bit too much for us seniors, so not being able to finish the final dessert was our only regret. Breakfast was also excellent, with freshly fried tempura prepared on the spot.\nThe only reason I rated the guest Room 4 stars is that there was nowhere to place luggage except for the table in the table-and-chair set; once we spread out our bags, there was no space left to set down drinks. Even a foldable luggage rack would have been appreciated (honestly, it’s more like minus 0.5).\nThis time it rained continuously so we didn’t explore the town; I’d like to visit again for strolling around and enjoying the food.

We stayed here as our Accommodation during a trip celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, taking a break between activities in Toyooka and Tamba-Sasayama. It was our first stay, and we were very satisfied. The meals were delicious and more than we could finish, with appetizers and hot pot in addition to the buffet, featuring seasonal and local ingredients. Above all, as we often say lately, we wanted to dine in a “calm atmosphere,” and it was exactly that—quiet, with a view of the garden—so we were happy to enjoy our meal while relaxing and chatting. The complimentary drinks service after bathing was also great. One regret is that we didn’t arrive in time for the welcome service and couldn’t try the local sweets. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.
