Chalet Ivy Weiss

I love hotel stays and have stayed at many Hotels across Japan, but this Hotel was exceptional. In particular, the views of Mt. Yotei from the Room and the large public bath, as well as the sea of clouds I saw from the rooftop early in the morning, were breathtaking. It seemed there were only a few guests during my stay, so I was able to use both the fitness gym and the large public bath almost privately. The gym had Pilates machines and state-of-the-art equipment, which made working out even better. The shampoo and conditioner in the large public bath had a lovely scent and were very relaxing. I was also happy that the hair dryer was a Dyson product. Breakfast was served as a set course with a choice of Japanese or Western options. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. During my stay I caused some trouble by accident, but every staff member responded with great kindness—thank you very much. Personally, I loved the Room’s color scheme and interior design; it really lifted my mood. If I visit Niseko again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

It was a truly wonderful Hotel. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and both the facilities and the room were spotless. The view of Mt. Yotei from our 6th-floor room was stunning—this is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.Surrounded by Niseko’s nature, I was impressed that there were no insects at all in the open-air bath, and that it was so well maintained.The view of Mt. Yotei from the open-air bath was breathtaking. A woman at the front desk told me, “Please try going to the open-air bath while it’s still light,” and I understood exactly why. The next day we couldn’t see the full view, so it was great advice.I had read in a Review that breakfast would be a course-style meal with a choice of Japanese or Western, which I was looking forward to, but it ended up being buffet only—so that was disappointing.The creative course dinner, however, looked beautiful and had gentle flavors—it was absolutely delicious.After dinner, I was moved by the countless stars filling the night sky as seen from the rooftop terrace.I’ve come to love Niseko.
