Shizuku: Private Room Inn with Sauna and Views of Mount Fuji

The two of us are sauna lovers, and we celebrated our anniversary at Ryokan Shizuku, which also offers an Anniversary Plan. The interior was very cute, and all the staff were wonderful—thanks to their hospitality, we had a very comfortable stay. We’re both big eaters, and when we ordered the maximum of four dishes per person, we were completely full. We were very satisfied. Both the in-room sauna and the large public bath sauna were hot enough, and it was great to work up a good sweat. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, which was disappointing—but that couldn’t be helped. Also, since it was quite cold outside, we weren’t sure about outdoor relaxation after the sauna, but there is a roof over the chairs so we didn’t get wet in the rain, and thanks to the poncho it was very comfortable. For breakfast, you can upgrade for an additional fee to a carefully prepared Japanese set meal (free refills of rice and miso soup), which was great because you can choose depending on how you feel that day. From start to finish the service was excellent, and my partner was very happy too—so it became a wonderful memory for us. We’ll also be using our moku towel (with “szk” on it) as a keepsake for our future sauna trips. We were extremely satisfied. Thank you so much to all the staff members.

I chose this Accommodation because I was attracted by the in-room sauna, and I stayed here on this trip.All of the staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay.I was also happy that the sauna was already warmed up at check-in, so I could use it right away.Since it was during the Golden Week holiday period, the rate was higher than usual, but my satisfaction exceeded that and it turned into a very fulfilling stay.I would definitely like to stay again.Thank you very much.
