Shizuku: Private Room Inn with Sauna and Views of Mount Fuji

My partner and I, both sauna lovers, celebrated our anniversary at Ryokan Shizuku, which offers an anniversary plan. The interior was very cute, and all the staff were wonderful—thanks to their hospitality, we had a very comfortable stay. We’re big eaters, but ordering the maximum of four dishes per person left us completely full. We were very satisfied. Both the in-room sauna and the public bath sauna were hot enough, and we could sweat properly—great experience. It rained unfortunately, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, which was a shame—but that can’t be helped. Also, since it was cold outside, we weren’t sure about outdoor relaxation after the sauna, but there’s a roof over the chairs so we stayed dry even in the rain, and thanks to the poncho it was very comfortable. For breakfast, for an additional fee you can switch to a carefully prepared Japanese set meal (with free refills of rice and miso soup), and it was great being able to choose depending on how we felt that day. From start to finish the service was excellent; my partner was very happy too, so it became a wonderful memory for us. We’ll also be using our moku towel (with “szk” on it) as a keepsake for our future sauna trips. We were extremely satisfied. Thank you very much to all the staff!

I chose this Accommodation because I was attracted by the in-room sauna, and I stayed here on this trip.All of the staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay.I was also happy that the sauna was already warmed up at check-in, so I could use it right away.Since it was during the Golden Week holiday period, the rate was higher than usual, but my satisfaction exceeded that and it turned into a very fulfilling stay.I would definitely like to stay again.Thank you very much.
