Hakone Yumoto Onsen Bansuirou Fukuzumi

Not only the building itself, but also the hanging scrolls and other details in the Room were wonderful, allowing us to spend a relaxing time while appreciating art and culture.As we stayed on a weekday, I mentioned at check-in that I was interested in the building, and the Accommodation staff kindly showed us several of Meijikan’s highlight Rooms. My parents and I were very satisfied. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. The in-room dining was also excellent, including freshly cooked white rice prepared right in front of us and abalone with a tender bite. We will visit again.

Although it is conveniently close to the station, once inside the Accommodation I was able to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay.Most memorable of all was the bath. With an abundant flow of water and a perfectly comfortable temperature, I could soak at ease. The open-air bath was also wonderfully refreshing—so peaceful and surrounded by greenery that it was hard to believe this Accommodation is so close to the station.I was also happy that dinner was served in my Room. Each dish was carefully prepared, the portions were just right, and everything stayed delicious through to the end. The timing of service and friendly conversation were pleasant as well, making for a warm and relaxing evening.The building has a dignified historic presence, and every corner of the property is kept impeccably clean. You can really feel how thoughtfully this older building has been cared for and maintained.The service left a strong impression too—from being welcomed with tea on arrival to attentive care for each guest party. Whether preparing bedding or serving meals, every staff member handled things calmly and professionally, which made me feel completely at ease.The guest Room also felt especially spacious thanks to the generous entry area leading into it—more open than the room size alone would suggest—and it was kept very clean.This is an Accommodation I would recommend to anyone who wants to take their time enjoying historic charm, excellent Onsen baths, and attentive hospitality.
