Tsukimi no Yado Kouyouon

The Room was standard and fairly ordinary, but both dinner and breakfast were excellent and a delight to the eyes as well. The sulfur Onsen was exactly what you’d expect from an Onsen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is my first visit in a year. I stayed on a weekday, expecting it to be less crowded, but I was surprised by how busy it was. As with last year, the Onsen quality is excellent and flawless. The only downside might be that the changing room felt too warm. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The meals were thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients and were very enjoyable. Since I booked an inexpensive Room, it couldn't be helped, but the private dining Room for breakfast and dinner was extremely small as it was located in a corner space—this was the only disappointment this time. Additionally, though not a major issue, I found that the toilet in the Room wasn't working because its plug had been disconnected from the outlet. Payment for accommodation is cash-only but reasonable overall. I would love to visit again if given another opportunity. Thank you for your hospitality!
