Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel

We stayed here at the end of our trip to Hokkaido. All of our previous stays were wonderful, but Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding as well. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and regret not being able to eat everything. The kamameshi rice was especially tasty, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything we ate was great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very delicious.The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin—one night wasn’t enough.This time we didn’t have enough time to explore Tokachi at a relaxed pace, so we would love to return next year.Above all, what made the best impression on us were the staff at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge provided exceptional service with a wonderful smile. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with an even lovelier smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but I also felt it reflects the Hotel’s excellent management philosophy. All of the other staff were equally attentive, and it reminded me that what truly shapes a trip is not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality. Thank you for helping us create such great memories—we would love to stay again next year.

I stayed here looking forward to the Moor Onsen and the scenery, and it turned out to be an even more satisfying trip than I expected. The water quality was excellent, and above all the bathing area was spotless and beautiful—I haven’t seen such a clean bath in a long time. Meals were served buffet-style and were truly delicious. Even without heavy seasoning, the natural flavors of the ingredients were more than enough, and the wide variety of dishes made it a genuine pleasure. The staff were also wonderful. The front desk team shared recommended spots to visit; the person baking bread in the morning greeted me even through the glass; and I also saw someone caring for the entrance plants early in the morning. Thanks to the Onsen, Hotel, and all of your staff, it became a truly memorable trip. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
