  • The Onsen was wonderful, the food was delicious, and all the staff were lovely.

    I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty.The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year.More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

  • View of the Tokachi River

    I stayed here on a friend’s recommendation. It was very clean, and the Onsen was spacious, so I could truly relax. The view of the Tokachi River from the terrace was beautiful—I couldn’t stop admiring it. Dinner was so satisfying that even someone who said “I hate buffets” ended up saying, “It’s really delicious. I’d be happy to stay here again,” and it was great that alcohol was all-inclusive as well. Since it was during Obon there were many families, but the place felt so spacious that it never seemed crowded—really reminding me of an Accommodation in Hokkaido. The azuki tea was delicious too.
