A decent hotel

I booked a spacious river view room because there was a special deal available. The view from the room was very nice. Although some time has passed since the hotel opened, and there were some aspects of the room and overall hotel facilities that were a bit concerning, the room was kept clean. One thing that bothered me was the distinctive smell I noticed as soon as I got off the elevator on the guest room floor. The same smell was present in the room, and it was quite noticeable on the first day. It was a smell that made me wonder if it was cigarette smoke, and it was not a pleasant scent. This was a significant negative point and dampened my mood. The service from the staff was generally good, but nothing particularly memorable. I think it's an ordinarily good hotel and I don't have any specific complaints, but when considering everything, I'm not sure if I would visit again.
