A luxurious space
Highly recommended for a relaxing stay. The separate pajama set was very comfortable, and I felt no stress at all staying in the Room. Perhaps because there was a wedding, the lounge was crowded this time and we had to wait for the elevator. One drawback is that it’s hard to tell which parking spaces are available, so it can be a bit of a struggle. I’d be happy if there were a little more salad in the lounge. As always, I really enjoyed the rose sparkling rosé. Thank you for your hospitality.

A Highly Satisfying Hotel Stay on the Espacio Floor
We stayed on the Espacio Floor for a Hotel getaway with our baby as a refreshing break from daily childcare. I had pictured Nagoya Kanko Hotel as a long-established, classic Hotel, but the Rooms, lounge, and spa on the Espacio Floor were all beautiful and sophisticated, making for an extremely satisfying stay. Thanks to our Diamond member benefits, we were upgraded to a larger Room. They also lent us a baby crib and a diaper pail, so even with a baby we had no inconvenience at all and could truly enjoy our stay. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and their service was consistently pleasant. We especially loved the lounge on the 18th floor and used it for everything—starting with afternoon tea, then the evening light meal, nightcap service, and breakfast. Perhaps because we stayed on a weekday, there were few guests; combined with the generous spacing between seats, we were able to relax in comfort. The sweets and savory items at afternoon tea were all delicious—we were delighted from right after check-in! The Room was spacious and included both a sofa and dining table. With complimentary minibar items as well, we could unwind not only in the lounge but also comfortably in our Room. After our baby fell asleep, my wife and I enjoyed minibar drinks together at ease—it was wonderfully restorative. Although we didn’t use them since it was only one night, it left an impression that the Room came equipped with a mini kitchen, a BALMUDA toaster oven/microwave combo unit (oven range), and a drum-type washer/dryer. We also appreciated the high-quality amenities: BVLGARI bath amenities, a ReFa shower head, and a REPRONIZER hair dryer. We also used the spa located in an adjacent building. It felt slightly compact but wasn’t crowded—almost like having it to ourselves—and we could relax in such a calm space. As someone who loves saunas in particular, I really liked that they have both an over-90°C dry sauna and cold plunge pool (it would be even better with more of a dedicated relaxation area). With my wife’s blessing I went both at night and again in the morning. Overall this stay exceeded expectations by far—we were extremely satisfied. We would love to return to Espacio again whenever we need another refreshing break from parenting!

We had a very relaxing stay.
As it was a weekday, there were few other guests, so we were able to relax and take our time. The lounge was never crowded, and we could enjoy the spa Facility almost as if it were reserved just for us. Including the spa Facility staff, everyone provided calm and unhurried service, which made us feel very comfortable. We could sense attention to detail everywhere, from the amenities to the towels. We are also very grateful for the Room upgrade and for filling out our travel memory book. This has become one of the Hotels we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

First stay on the Espacio Floor
There were both positives and negatives. The best part was how clean the lounge was. It’s spacious and open, check-in was smooth, and you can go straight to the adjacent lounge for afternoon tea. However, the quality of the sweets wasn’t as good as I expected—nothing like the level of luxury Hotel lounges in the Tokyo metropolitan area—so I felt it was a fairly standard selection and taste. Unfortunately, the food during cocktail time afterward was also underwhelming. The guest room is a wide layout, with BVLGARI amenities that feel luxurious, and I was happy to see a Repronizer hair dryer. The downtime service and staff were polite and left a great impression. What disappointed me was that the shower water pressure was quite weak, and the sink stopper is a push-in type—I personally don’t like touching it. I also wanted to make a spa Reservation, but while I was deciding it filled up. If you’re considering the spa, I recommend booking early. I wish this had been mentioned at reception—I didn’t expect all slots to be gone within 30 minutes, which was very disappointing. I didn’t use the gym or pool this time, but they looked very clean Facilities, so if there’s a next time I’d like to bring yoga wear or a swimsuit and enjoy my Hotel stay more. I was looking forward to breakfast as well; it wasn’t particularly good or bad overall, but the freshly made onigiri prepared on request felt special and tasted great.

A Stay to Create Wonderful Memories in Nagoya
Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. I met my daughter, who came from the Kansai area, at Nagoya Station and we headed to your Hotel together. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the spacious first-floor lobby with its calm atmosphere, as well as the views and elegance of the Espacio Lounge on the upper floors. We were also very satisfied with our Room and the various services provided. We thoroughly enjoyed a birthday commemorative stay together—my first trip after recovering from illness—and made full use of both the pool and the large public bath. Choosing a stay with lounge access was truly the right decision. From afternoon tea onward, every food presentation offered items unique to Nagoya, all of which we enjoyed very much. I was also deeply moved by the hospitality of all your staff. Saying “We definitely want to come again,” we each began our journey home. Thank you again for helping make this a memorable moment during our summer holiday.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel.
I often visit Nagoya, but this was my first stay at this Hotel. The overall atmosphere was very elegant and calm, with a refined sense of luxury. The service was attentive, and the meals were delicious. I was very satisfied and would like to stay here again.

A Long-Established Inn with Proven Excellence
Thank you for taking care of me on my birthday. All the staff congratulated me, and although I felt a bit shy, I was truly happy. While the Room itself is compact, the washing area, bathtub, bed, TV, sofa space, and other amenities are spacious and generously sized, so it never felt cramped. The club lounge offerings were just right—nothing lacking or excessive—and I was also able to relax by the pool to my satisfaction. I had a luxurious stay. Thank you very much.

I visited again for the first time in two years.
It was my first time back at Espacio in exactly two years. Last time, I think there were local craft beers in the Room refrigerator. The shampoo and other amenities are now in large bottles (which I think is a great eco-friendly choice). The crowding in the Espacio Lounge was completely different from my previous visit, but I’m impressed by how they keep innovating—adding more made-to-order breakfast items and even offering made-to-order options at afternoon tea. Above all, I came looking forward to enjoying the pool and other facilities that opened last year, and they were even better than the photos—absolutely wonderful, and I was very satisfied. There weren’t many hair dryers in the bath washing area or changing room, but at the time I used them it wasn’t an issue. Embarrassingly, my eyesight isn’t great so I couldn’t immediately figure out the dryer switch; the person next to me said the same thing in English, so I blurted out “me neither,” and we searched together for a while (laugh). At check-in, they also gave a careful explanation of turndown service. Part of me wondered if I looked like someone who wouldn’t know that—but then again, about 30 years ago at an overseas Hotel of this class, I completely forgot turndown would be provided and went out leaving everything messy, which was embarrassing. So this level of explanation is actually reassuring. Overall, once again it was a very comfortable stay. Seeing how quickly the lounge champagne disappears does make me wonder how long this level can be maintained—but I’m looking forward to staying again (hopefully sooner next time).

Wonderful Hotel
This was my first stay, and it was a wonderful Hotel. The lobby on the first floor was spacious and had a calm atmosphere. As soon as I entered, a staff member greeted me, and after I told them I was checking in, they guided me to complete the check-in procedures at a relaxed pace on the 6th floor. The Room was on a high floor with a great view, and it felt peaceful and comfortable. I also liked the classic door. The 24-hour drink bar was great as well. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied. I came by car, so I really appreciated that there were plenty of parking spaces available free of charge. I already have another Reservation for next time, so I’m really looking forward to it.

A Comfortable Space
I was staying in Nagoya alone and expected to arrive late, but I still wanted to relax, so I looked for a place that would let me unwind. Many nice hotels have a refined, minimalist design that can feel a bit stark, but I chose this Hotel because of its classic atmosphere and the breakfast looked appealing. The Room had a lovely feel, and the guest lounge was also very pleasant, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The breakfast bread was delicious as well. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya. Thank you very much.

A lovely, classic Hotel
The staff’s presence and the elegant front desk reception. This is a truly wonderful Hotel. You can feel the excellence of a long-established property and the hospitality of Japanese Hotels—it’s genuine, not an imitation. It’s a Hotel where you can also sense tradition. The meals are not good.
I stayed for two nights on weekdays in late July. I pulled up to the entrance by car, but no one came out. Is this the Tengu Hotel? When I went inside, two staff members were chatting. Even after they saw me, they didn’t move right away. I got to my Room. It was quite nice, and I liked it. There are no USB ports in the Room. After looking around, I found them on the TV. A light bulb was out, so when I contacted them, the front desk staff who handled check-in replaced it for me. Thank you very much. Breakfast had about five large shared plates of unnecessary snack-like items, and I wondered if they were leftovers reused from the night before. Is the milk processed milk? The breakfast staff also seemed to have an arrogant attitude as well. Next time, I’ll check out another Hotel.

It was wonderful.
I stayed here with my partner, and we both had a wonderful time. We were upgraded, which made our stay even more special. The Room felt elegant and substantial, and it was a very comfortable space. Every staff member we interacted with was excellent and truly hospitable. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Next time, I’d also like to explore other areas within the Facility.

I felt truly elegant.
Thank you very much for your hospitality. You kindly upgraded our Room, and sparkling wine was prepared in the Room as well. It was perfect for staying the night before my son’s wedding, and we were able to spend a truly elegant time. The lobby decorations were also wonderful. With the Diamond benefit, our checkout time was extended to 2:00 p.m., but because we had to attend the wedding, we needed to check out early in the morning… We would have loved to relax and stay longer. When we visit Nagoya again, we would definitely like to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located near Misonoza.
It was conveniently located near Misonoza. They upgraded our Room to a more spacious one. The shower and bathtub were combined in one unit. The Room had a great selection of tea and juice, and the plum tea was especially nice when we were tired. When we asked for recommended nearby restaurants, they gave us a printed list, which was very helpful—both the eel lunch and seafood dinner options were excellent. Breakfast was a buffet with desserts as well, and it was more than sufficient.

A true long-established establishment.
This time, we drove from Tokyo in the evening and arrived at night, but we were warmly welcomed. We were upgraded, and sparkling wine was prepared in our Room, which helped us unwind after the long drive. With our late-night arrival, the late check-out was also very helpful. It had been a while since our last stay, but as expected of one of Nagoya’s leading Hotels—it’s still as wonderful as ever.

A Wonderful Time
I felt a little disappointed that the lounge closes at 9:00 PM, but I suppose that’s to be expected in a business district. I truly appreciated the pleasant service in the lobby, the lounge, and at the check-in desk. It really showed why this is such a long-established Hotel. I checked in late at night for work, but next time I’d like to stay longer and enjoy breakfast and the bar as well. Thank you very much.

Traveling to Nagoya with my daughter.
This was my first stay here. At check-in, each guest had their own table and chair, and the courteous service made us feel truly welcomed. Thank you for upgrading our Room. My daughter was thrilled by the surprise. A spacious, classic Room and a lounge where you can relax at ease. In the lounge, we enjoyed the book collection, soft drinks, and local sweets. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious. It’s easy to end up eating too much. It was a wonderful Hotel that made me want to check in earlier next time and take my time.

It was very comfortable.
This was my first stay since the renovation, and both the facilities and amenities were on par with international hotels, making it very comfortable. It feels a step above other hotels in Nagoya in the same price range, and if you don’t mind being a little away from the terminal and downtown area, I think it offers the highest overall satisfaction.

A truly elegant, extraordinary stay experience
It was a very comfortable, elegant, and truly special stay, and we are sincerely grateful. The only thing we found puzzling was that there were large eco-friendly pump bottles of shampoo and conditioner, but no body wash. Since there was a bar soap, we used that instead; however, if possible, we would appreciate it if you could also provide body wash. Thank you again for your continued support.

Experience Nagoya’s most distinguished long-established elegance and quiet luxury.
Having held our wedding at Nagoya Kanko Hotel in the past, we already expected a high level of quality—but this stay on the Espacio Floor added an extra layer of luxury. The Espacio Floor is accessible only to a limited number of guests, and it felt as if there were another quiet luxury hotel tucked inside this long-established Hotel. The guest room struck an excellent balance between fresh, updated design and the calm elegance you would expect from a classic property. The bathroom also felt upscale, and for longer stays the room is even equipped with a kitchen and a drum-type washer/dryer. There is an exclusive lounge, and after check-in we were able to relax during afternoon tea time. Alcoholic drinks such as beer are also available, so even guests who don’t have much of a sweet tooth should feel comfortable. Although more tall buildings have gone up nearby, the view is still quite pleasant; you can enjoy food and drinks while taking in the scenery through large windows. We had breakfast in the lounge as well. Rather than focusing on sheer variety, it delivers satisfaction through the quality of each item. The onigiri and omelets were carefully prepared, allowing us to start the day with a calm and fulfilling morning. For dinner, the front desk kindly recommended family-friendly options for dining with children, and we made a Reservation at “Kuretake,” the Japanese restaurant inside the Hotel. We also used in-room dining for a late-night meal; its wide menu selection, quick service, and consistently excellent taste were all impressive. I was the only one to use the pool, but it had an escape-like atmosphere that reminded me of an overseas hotel—and perhaps because I happened to be alone there, it was wonderfully quiet. Swimsuits and goggles are available to borrow as well, so you can enjoy it without bringing anything. The only drawback might be that getting from your room to the separate building can feel complicated—almost like navigating a maze. There are minor points typical of an older building—such as tight parking—that may stand out. Even so, they are outweighed by Nagoya’s most established Hotel-level reliability in service and by the serene luxury unique to staying on the Espacio Floor. The display in front of the main entrance on Level 1 captivates us every time. We were able to spend an early-summer holiday at ease in a luxurious space far removed from everyday life.

Unfortunately, the hospitality is lacking.
All IKYU Diamond Member benefits were applied, the food was excellent, the Room was wonderful, and the bed was superb. The large public bath, pool, gym, and other Facilities were also outstanding, so we definitely received the Hotel’s full range of services. However, although I noted in the Reservation comments that we were staying to celebrate my wife’s birthday, none of the staff offered any congratulatory words, and there was no message card in the Room. It was disappointing and felt lacking in hospitality. To be honest, all we wanted was a simple “Happy Birthday.” That said, it’s a great Hotel with a convenient location and well-equipped Facilities, so we will stay again when visiting family. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wonderful
This was my first stay for sightseeing, and the service was excellent, allowing me to enjoy a very satisfying Hotel experience. The staff kindly explained nearby attractions in detail, which was very helpful. It is a calm Hotel that I really liked.
