I stayed here with my wife on a trip to Kagoshima. Because it was raining and our flight was delayed, we couldn’t really enjoy the view, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen with excellent water quality. The water is strongly alkaline and leaves your skin silky-smooth—personally, I loved it. The staff were all pleasant, and the meals were delicious without being overly large. Overall, we were satisfied with the Room that has a bath, except that the bathroom is fully visible from the bed. A curtain or similar covering on the bathroom door would help even middle-aged couples feel more comfortable. A great Onsen in a convenient location near Sakurajima and Ogawa Falls. Please continue operating for many years to come. Thank you very much.

All the Hotel staff were very kind, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast restaurant, Onsen, gym, lounge, front desk, and elevators all had plenty of space and never felt crowded, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and luxurious stay.

It was a very nice Accommodation and great value for money. Instead of offering full-service assistance like carrying luggage, they provide a wide range of complimentary self-serve options from 3:00 PM, including beer, coffee and other drinks, plus snacks like rice crackers and chiffon cake. Dinner also includes free-flow drinks, which makes it feel like excellent value. The food was great, especially the seafood—it was very fresh and delicious. Some items (like the hassun platter) are already set on the table, and soup is self-serve as well; I assume this streamlined service helps keep prices down. That said, if you ask questions, the staff kindly explain things, so I didn’t feel the service was bad at all. As other Reviews mention, the front desk staff spoke a bit quickly and felt somewhat businesslike, but there’s a lot to explain during check-in so it’s understandable. Given the room rate, I felt it was reasonable overall. The Room was stylish and very clean. The Onsen had a lovely amber-colored water with a slight moor-like scent. From the moment I got in it felt silky-smooth on my skin, and afterward my skin felt soft and smooth as well. There’s a roadside station right across the street where you can buy various souvenirs too; considering the price, this is a wonderful Accommodation with great value for money. A charming Accommodation, delicious cuisine, and heartfelt hospitality—everything was exceptional, and I was truly moved. I don’t have many opportunities to visit Akita, but this was a special Accommodation that made me think, “I will definitely come back.” I also purchased and read the book that tells the story leading up to the opening. I deeply resonated with the passion and convictions behind it and found it truly inspiring. I hope to learn from that passion and continue working in a way that brings joy to the people right in front of me.

It had been a while since my last stay, but once again I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular views, delicious meals, and the silky-smooth Onsen water. While some parts of the Facility felt a bit dated, the hospitality more than made up for it. Next time, I hope to visit in winter to enjoy crab.

Thank you for taking care of us for two nights and three days. I have stayed in many places around Japan, but this is the first time I’ve written a Review. It was a wonderful stay, and although I didn’t have time to properly express my thanks in person, I’d like to do so here. Work has been very busy lately, and this time I came hoping to “just relax,” and this Accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. From our Room we could look out over the sea at Matsushima, and without having to leave the Accommodation much at all, we were able to spend slow, luxurious time simply gazing at the ocean. The cheerful and courteous service from the staff in charge of our Room left a strong impression on me, and thanks to them we felt comfortable throughout our stay. At the dining venue as well, they casually checked in with us—“Are you cold?”—and even someone like me who gets cold easily was able to relax comfortably. The tea sweets provided were delicious, and the bath was extremely soothing. After bathing, it’s also a fond memory that I could unwind by reading while enjoying cold tea at “Salon Kura.” Every meal was truly delicious. In particular, the anago (conger eel) takikomi rice really stayed with me. We were told that any leftovers could be made into rice balls, but it was so easy to eat that we kept reaching for more with our chopsticks and finished it all. My partner seems especially impressed by the Sendai Kuroge Wagyu steak. Being able to grill sasa-kamaboko at breakfast also made me happy—it felt uniquely Miyagi. Even when we were leaving, you prepared sightseeing maps and gourmet information for us as well, and we felt your warm thoughtfulness right until the end. It was a truly lovely Accommodation where you can take your time enjoying both Matsushima’s scenery and how comfortable everything feels on-site. It ended up being a stay that refreshed both body and mind. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for everything during our stay.

My husband and I visit Miyakojima every year. This was our first time staying on Irabu Island, and choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision. We could see the ocean both from the Room and from the bath, and once outside there was a pool. The pool was more than spacious enough for two people, with good depth, and we could reach the beach in seconds. We considered walking to Toguchi Beach as it seemed close enough, but the path is over rough rocks and felt dangerous, so we gave up. At night we enjoyed a sky full of stars by the pool with a drink in hand—this Accommodation let us have everything we wanted without even leaving. There was an extra bedroom next to the bathroom, so we used it to open our suitcases and store our belongings, which allowed us to enjoy the living room, dining area, and main bedroom with plenty of space and great comfort. For meals, there are restaurants just a short drive away, so it never felt inconvenient. We even found some unique places serving mangrove crab and sea turtle dishes. We stayed for three nights this time, but next year we’d like to stay a little longer.

We reserved two cottages for three generations. With so many requirements, it was difficult to find an Accommodation, and we decided at the last minute again this time. Thank you very much for kindly accommodating our requests. When we arrived, our first reaction was, “Wow, what a great place!” We checked in at the café building and received the keys, and when we went inside everyone exclaimed, “Wow—it’s so spacious!” We were all thrilled. We chose the plan with two meals and had BBQ for dinner. Everything was set in the refrigerator—just grill it or heat it up—and the portions were very generous. The in-room Onsen bath had silky-smooth water that left our skin feeling soft. It was also wonderful that all four adults could sleep in beds; we were able to rest comfortably. For breakfast, we ate at the café right in front of us—the freshly baked bread was incredibly delicious. Our family also visited the Onsen Facility across from us and said they loved it as well—the water there was silky too and felt amazing. Not everyone drank it, but I personally loved the coffee bags in the Room—they were innovative and tasted great. We really liked everything. It became a favorite for our whole family, and it’s an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We visited on a three-generation family trip. On the day, strong winds caused the ferry from Shikoku to be canceled. Because we were traveling from far away, the Hotel called to inform us, which we really appreciated. Fortunately, we had planned to come via a port on the Honshu side, so we arrived safely, but their thoughtfulness made us happy. We had two Japanese-style Rooms next to each other. They were typical Japanese-style Rooms and you could feel their age, but they were very clean and well maintained. The view from the Room window was spectacular. When we woke up early, we could also see the sunrise and start the day feeling refreshed. Dinner was served at table seating in a large banquet hall. It was luxurious with local ingredients, and we were completely full. The staff member serving us chatted with us about various things, which was enjoyable. For the sea bream rice cooked in a pot that we couldn’t finish, they kindly made it into rice balls so we could have it as a late-night snack. It was very delicious even when cold. We caused extra work for them, but we were truly grateful. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying. The large public bath also had an amazing view. The washing area was spacious and there was no waiting at all. It was thoroughly cleaned as well, which pleased us. In the early morning bath time, surprisingly many guests were already up early too, and it felt open and relaxing—a wonderful bath. I don’t think the building itself is new, but because everything was kept so clean it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. There were many smiles among the staff and they greeted us properly—it’s a Hotel where you can really feel how good their hospitality is.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

I stayed around April for a live concert trip. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and attentive, and the hospitality was excellent. They kindly agreed to store my luggage, which was a great help. I believe I chose the lowest-grade Room, but it was very spacious, spotless throughout, and comfortable. When I visit the Kansai area again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was my first time staying for three nights, and everything was great—the service struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and distance. It was a bit pricey, but it’s now on my list of Accommodations I’d like to treat myself to again. If I had to mention one thing, I’d love the meals to have a bit more originality!
