It was a last-minute trip. We chose your hotel for its views of the Alps. The special rate after Silver Week was also a deciding factor. The room and bath met our expectations, and the dinner and breakfast buffet exceeded them.

Since it is right in front of Echigo-Yuzawa Station, getting around was easy with almost no travel needed. I was able to use the foot bath and enjoy cake at the cafe as well. I chose a plan with breakfast only, without dinner. Breakfast felt a little less satisfying than before. Overall, I was satisfied. I booked a Room with an open-air bath and was able to use it many times.

This was my first trip to Yamagata Prefecture. I booked this Accommodation at the last minute as a stopover on my way through Yamagata to Niigata Prefecture to attend the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, and the food was truly delicious. The staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their service was excellent. The Onsen was also great. Even though I chose this Ryokan without doing any research, I had a fantastic stay. Thank you very much.

This was our first time staying here. They offered a welcome drink, and we chose the BBQ—everything was made with excellent ingredients! At night, the starry sky was beautiful, and it became a wonderful memory for our whole family. We’d love to come again.

My flight arrived at Memanbetsu Airport at 18:30. I wanted to order dinner as well, but it seemed I would need to finish eating by 20:00, so I decided not to. Since nearby restaurants close early, I ended up having a convenience store bento for dinner. The Haseko Mart bento was really delicious. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a group. The banquet hall and meals were delicious, and the Onsen was relaxing—overall a comfortable Accommodation. Surrounded by greenery in a quiet setting, we would like to stay here again when visiting Nikko.

This time, we stayed in a Room with a private free-flowing Onsen bath. The bathroom in the Room was spacious, with a large tub and water at just the right temperature, so we were able to fully enjoy the Onsen along with the public bath. There was a wide variety of dishes, with plenty of vegetables, and we enjoyed everything—from the meal to dessert—with both our eyes and our taste buds. While the building exterior shows some age, the Facility is well maintained; the Room was thoroughly cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay.

We visited to celebrate my mother’s birthday and stayed in a Japanese-Western style room at Rindo-kan, bringing her rollator walker. At the welcome drink corner in front of the front desk, we enjoyed wine, tea, and even ice cream. They placed our room near the elevator, and it was very clean, spacious, with a great view. We could see the expressway nearby, and the moon was beautiful at night. There was also a water dispenser in the hallway along with a pot for water, which made our stay very comfortable. There were 10 steps up to the hot spring area, but she was able to move slowly while holding onto the handrail. The hot spring water quality was excellent—it warmed us up wonderfully! At dinner, since it was her birthday, they kindly provided one complimentary drink per family member. The staff who served our meal also congratulated her, which made us very happy. Thank you very much! There was a wide variety of dishes and we were completely full—especially the kamameshi rice cooked in an iron pot, which was delicious. The breakfast buffet also had many options and we were satisfied. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The building was old, but I was very satisfied with the meals. The live kitchen changes daily, and during my stay it was Jingisukan (grilled mutton). I would have preferred steak, but the Jingisukan was delicious too. The sashimi was also excellent, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast live-kitchen burgers were tasty as well. The baths were old too, but the view from the open-air bath was amazing. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

The Onsen water quality, the spacious and open feel, and being able to bathe as a couple made it the best Onsen I’ve ever visited. I enjoyed how the atmosphere changed in the morning, evening, and at night. You buy a bathing garment at the shop and wear it in the bath. It may be a bit short for tall women, so you might want to bring your own. Since we stayed two nights, we went to the Prince Hotel buffet on the second night. The food selection wasn’t very different—just crab and a few additional items, with more variety overall. The Hotel Facility is old and not particularly luxurious, but it’s not expensive, and above all the Onsen is excellent, so I was satisfied.

On weekdays, the room-only rate for two people in one room was under 10,000 yen. The view from the room was great, with a beautiful night view of Nasu-Shiobara. It may depend on the timing, but we were also able to see a sea of clouds in the morning. The hot spring had an open-air bath and was very relaxing. Even in my 50s, I enjoyed the outdoor hot spring pool. Making your own grilled dango was also fun. I’d like to stay again.

Sorry for the late review, but we had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to share it. The staff were incredibly kind, and that alone made us feel we chose the right Hotel. In particular, during meals (the buffet), the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made dining truly pleasant. Of course, the food was delicious as well. The shop staff were also very welcoming. Even though it was close to closing time, we never felt rushed, and I enjoyed shopping in a relaxed way while chatting with them. As for the Facility, there was a drink bar just outside the bath area, and it was great to be able to sample small amounts of various alcoholic drinks such as beer and shochu. Our family of five stayed here, and every one of us was satisfied. Thank you very much.

A unique accommodation where you can enjoy a campfire. The Tenger Stay offers an extraordinary experience, perfect for escaping the ordinary. We recommend renting traditional Mongolian attire for an added touch. The meals exceeded expectations and were very delicious. At night, you can enjoy a short horsehead fiddle performance (about 30 minutes). The bath is a large public bath, and the Onsen's quality left the skin feeling moisturized. Basic skincare products from Sekkisei are available here. Please note that there is no toilet in the room, and it requires a short walk, which might be inconvenient for those who need frequent access. However, hygiene was not an issue. Sandals are provided in the Ger, so there's no need to wear shoes inside. The staff were all very friendly and provided excellent hospitality. I would love to visit again in a different season.

In conclusion, this Accommodation offered outstanding value for money! I had made separate one-night Reservations for different Rooms, but when availability opened up, I was able to stay in the same Room for two nights. I chose the Deluxe Japanese-style Room, and upgrading was definitely the right decision. The first thing I did after arriving was head straight to the Onsen. The water quality was incredible—silky and pleasantly smooth—and it genuinely felt like it left my skin refreshed. The washing area is spacious, and the indoor bath is more than large enough. The open-air bath is a bit smaller, but the water was so clean and soothing that it didn’t matter at all. I would happily come back just for this Onsen. The meals were also excellent. Although it’s a buffet, it wasn’t the typical “hotel buffet” with mass-produced dishes. Instead, each item felt carefully prepared. There aren’t countless options, but both the taste and quality were more than satisfying. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights, and the initial plated dish (separate from the buffet) featured different ingredients on each day—both were delicious. Some buffet items also changed on day two, so I never felt bored even with dinner twice in a row. The wood-fired pizza was especially good—I ended up eating too much on both days. Honestly, if you ate this dinner every day you’d definitely gain weight (in a good way). It was nothing like an ordinary hotel buffet that simply reheats frozen food. Breakfast was just as good. The view from the Room was amazing as well, which made me even happier that I chose the Deluxe Japanese-style Room. By luck I was on the top floor (5th floor), with a full view of Happo-One Ski Resort—including the ski jump—so it felt fantastic. I honestly think this Accommodation has one of the best vantage points in the area in terms of seeing over the entire resort and how close it feels to the mountains. Switching to two nights in this Deluxe Japanese-style Room was absolutely worth it. If you’re unsure which side to choose, I highly recommend a ski-resort-facing Room. The Accommodation itself may be somewhat older, but there wasn’t a single place where it felt old (or dirty). If anything, it feels very clean throughout. Even my window had been thoroughly cleaned, so I could enjoy their proud ski-resort view through spotless glass. All staff members were kind and welcoming with genuine smiles, which made my stay even better. I would absolutely like to stay here again.

We stayed as a family of three. It was an Accommodation with about 10 Rooms, where we could spend a very relaxing time. Depending on the time of day, the Onsen felt like it was reserved for private use. It was great to be able to choose from six types of shampoo. The food was also very delicious.

I had heard great things about the food, and I was really looking forward to it—it truly impressed me. I enjoyed kiritanpo in an individual hot pot. There were also game dishes, all prepared deliciously. It was my first time in a while to have hatahata. I stayed for two nights and never got tired of the meals; I enjoyed them throughout. The staff were efficient and left a very positive impression.

What we liked - Many of the dining areas are semi-private, which gave our family a nice sense of privacy. - The meal selection wasn’t huge, but it was more than satisfying, and everything we tried was delicious. We appreciated the focus on quality over flashy presentation. - Although all the staff were foreign nationals, everyone was smiling, sincere, and hardworking. It made us want to cheer them on. - Each floor had a completely different hallway interior design and furnishings, which was fun to see. - There was some flexibility at check-in and during meals, so we didn’t have to rush or wait in long lines. We really appreciated being able to move around calmly. A few minor disappointments - The air conditioning in the lobby, hallways, and elevator wasn’t very effective, so it felt hot. The lobby is large with an open atrium so that’s understandable, but the elevator was especially warm. - There were cobwebs on the ceiling near the window in our Room. We stayed as three generations of our family (parents and child), and everyone was very satisfied—we had a wonderful time together. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious, and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. The bath was crowded, but still enjoyable. If I had to mention one drawback, it was a bit inconvenient that the shoe lockers and changing-room lockers required inserting a 100-yen coin, even though it is returned.

The building and interior feel a bit dated, but everything was clean overall, which was nice. As for the room, I’d like to see a bit more effort with cleaning the toilet… It wasn’t dirty, but while it looks fine from above, there were some dark stains visible from the side. I’d like it to be scrubbed thoroughly with foaming cleaner and a brush. Also, about the tea cups—I'd be happy if there were mugs instead of teacups. The Onsen and the breakfast on the top floor were exceptional! If you stay here, I definitely recommend adding breakfast.

We stayed here while sightseeing at Oirase Gorge and Lake Towada. We spent a relaxing time in the spacious garden in front of Lake Towada. Although the building has a sense of history, the Room was clean and well maintained, and we were satisfied with everything—the bath and the meals. It was a wonderful Hotel.
