I chose the Onuma Prince Hotel for my friend visiting from afar. They were delighted, saying they could relax, fully enjoy the Onsen, and sleep well—it was wonderful. I’m grateful for the staff’s warm smiles and kind service.

This was my first time staying here. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but I was surprised to find such attentive service—it’s rare to see this level of care. There was a great selection of welcome drinks, and the freshly made desserts were delicious! Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety, and I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy many different dishes in small portions. After dinner, I relaxed in the lounge with alcohol and snacks. The bath had a wonderful view, and I also enjoyed the hot stone sauna in the morning for a truly luxurious time. I came with my mother, and she was very happy too, so I’m glad we chose this place. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed for one night in early September. The weather was cool, with cicadas still singing, and morning and evening walks were very pleasant. The baths were both relaxing; I personally preferred the Kura bath. We also used the foot massage machine after bathing. Dinner was an all-you-can-eat mochi pork shabu-shabu course, and even with the kaiseki dishes included, it was so delicious that we went back for seconds! The slices were thick yet tender, with no odor—truly excellent. The dining Room was a private Room, so we could enjoy our meal calmly together with our dog. Our dog’s meals also looked delicious—honestly, I felt like I could have eaten them myself. Breakfast was of course great as well, with plenty of side dishes that paired perfectly with rice. Refills were available, and we were very satisfied. After breakfast we settled the bill, and checkout was smooth. The Japanese-style Room was on the smaller side but comfortably cozy. I usually prefer beds, but I slept well on the futon too. The door used an auto-lock keypad system, which made it easy not having to manage a key—very convenient. If we have another chance, we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

The Hotel was spacious and clean, and the staff provided very courteous service. Since it was a weekend after summer vacation had ended, there weren’t many guests, so we were able to relax. We happened to use the large public bath when it was not crowded, so we could enjoy the outside view while bathing and take our time at the sinks as well. The Room was also spacious and clean, and the view of Shibayamagata Lagoon was amazing. Dinner was Japanese cuisine served course by course, but it was disappointing that the next dish took quite a while to arrive. Still, every dish was freshly prepared and delicious.

Although we stayed for only one night, we were very satisfied. We were able to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, relax, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The staff were wonderful, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

The meals were delicious, and the Onsen was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The service was polite and excellent. The location is also great, with a roadside station nearby (with an open plaza and rental play equipment such as balls) as well as a nearby stone circle heritage site. If the weather is good, families with children can enjoy a full day out.

I traveled to the Agano River specifically for this Accommodation, and it was excellent. The meals were generous in portion and delicious, and the open-air bath felt spacious and was truly wonderful. I would love to stay again when I visit this area. Thank you.

The staff, including international team members, were friendly and great. They were great both in the lobby and at the dining venue. It was a wonderful Accommodation with a calm atmosphere—exactly what you’d hope for. The slightly no-frills service actually made it feel more relaxed and comfortable. If I had to mention just one thing, I think it would be better to replace the mirrors in the large public bath.

We stayed as two couples. We made the reservation based on the reviews. Upon entering the room, there was a Western-style area with twin beds, a small table, and chairs. Beyond that was a Japanese-style room with a low table and chairs. It was very comfortable to stay in. As for the bath, I personally thought it was nice, but my husband said it felt cold inside and only used it once at night. Dinner was just as delicious as mentioned in the reviews. In comparison, breakfast left a slightly disappointing impression. Overall, I think this accommodation offers great value for money. I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

The Room comes with a semi-open-air bath, and I could soak as many times as I wanted at any time, so it was amazing! With only five Rooms in total, there were few people even at the open-air bath, and I was able to relax. The Onsen water is clear, but it has a strong sulfur scent, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth. I’d love to visit again if I get the chance!

This was our first trip with our dog, and we were able to stay very comfortably. There was a large crate, a large toilet tray, and ceramic bowls for food and water—more than enough space for a small dog. It gave us peace of mind even when we went out during dinner time leaving our dog behind. Supplies such as pee pads were also provided, and the thoughtful attention really showed. The stairs are steep, so our dog was confused at first, but quickly got used to them and seemed to enjoy exploring. The entryway step-down area is also nice. There’s a small garden in the back as well, which feels relaxing. We stayed as a family of four, and with the spacious living area plus complimentary drinks such as delicious coffee, tea, alcohol, and sparkling water available, we were able to unwind at ease. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen (in a good way), but from a space-planning perspective it felt very efficient—I was impressed by the designer’s skill. As a shower room for international guests it’s more than sufficient, but for Japanese guests it might have been even better if there had been a wash bucket. If you’d like to soak in a bath slowly, there is an onsen nearby that may be a better option. My husband and son said that onsen was excellent. As others have mentioned, the blinds in the main bedroom are stylish but don’t completely block out streetlight glare, so it may be inconvenient for anyone who needs total darkness to sleep. It might be nice to have an additional blackout blind as well. Breakfast had gentle flavors; the rice served in an ohitsu container was delicious too—I ended up having seconds. The concierge kindly shared what makes Hida-Furukawa special with us, which made our short stay truly memorable. We also visited several temples—their architecture was impressive and fascinating. It’s such a calm and beautiful town. We’d love to come back again for the festival in April.

To all the staff at Karuizawa Club Hotel 1130, thank you as always for your kind support. My family has stayed here many times over the past few years, and this time we were finally able to make a Reservation for the Premium Family Suite Room we had long hoped for, so we stayed yesterday. As its name suggests, it was the highest-grade Room among the many Rooms at Karuizawa Hotel 1130. There was an open-air jacuzzi bath on the balcony, and two indoor baths inside as well. There were also two restrooms, and four separate rooms in total—one of them a bedroom with a skylight that lets you gaze up at the sky. Because every space was so luxurious, my whole family was thrilled the moment we stepped into each room. We had reserved Japanese kaiseki at Yamaboshi well in advance, but it was changed to a buffet Plan. Just like in Hewitt Resort’s TV commercial, the buffet venue was beautiful and the selection was extensive. From the live kitchen at dinner to freshly made rice balls at breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were all courteous and kind, which helped us greatly. We also visited the open-air bath at Onioshi Onsen; it had been renovated and made it easier to access directly from the indoor bath area. We will be staying one more night later this month as well, and we are looking forward to enjoying the same Premium Family Suite Room again. Each time we stay, this wonderful Hotel continues to evolve even further—and it has become our family’s favorite. I hope other guests can experience that same sense of excitement too. Staying here feels exciting—like a theme park inspired by the Nebuta Festival. Great hospitality, and the food is excellent. I’d definitely come back.

Our family of four stayed for two nights. From check-in onward, the Hotel staff were wonderfully welcoming, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. What impressed us most was the outstanding hospitality of everyone on the team. Not only the person who assisted us at check-in, but also the staff during meals were consistently courteous and attentive. It never felt like formal or scripted service—just genuine care that made dining as a family truly enjoyable. The Onsen was also fantastic, and we were able to relax and unwind at a leisurely pace. Spending two nights together as a family made for a truly wonderful trip. There are many reasons to choose a Hotel—Facilities, location, and more—but what really makes you want to come back is the warmth of the people who work there. We were all very satisfied. When we visit Karuizawa again, we would love to stay here again. Thank you for such a lovely time.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Thank you for preparing the special Room on the 4th floor; the view from the Room was wonderful. Not only could we overlook the streets of Hirugami Onsen town, but we were also able to gaze at the starry sky at night, making it a truly luxurious and moving experience. The meals also featured seasonal local ingredients, and in particular, the salt-grilled amago trout was delicious. We were very satisfied with both the scenery and the food. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

I had a very comfortable stay! There were a few minor housekeeping issues, but the Room and the Hotel overall were clean. I was very satisfied with the meals as well! I thought it might be nice to use even more of my favorite Nagano ingredients. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a room with a private open-air bath. The room was spotless and very spacious. The open-air bath was generously sized, and we were able to relax while listening to the sound of the clear river flowing below the inn. We stayed for two nights, and they changed the meal menu each day, so we enjoyed it without getting bored. Both the T-bone steak and filet steak were lean Joshu beef—low in fat yet incredibly tender—and my spouse and I were thrilled as we ate. We were also pleasantly surprised by how delicious the thick-cut bacon served with the salad was. We are grateful to all of the staff for their very courteous service. Both of us would love to visit again.

Surrounded by Aso’s great natural scenery, the views were amazing! We were upgraded, so our Room was a Japanese-Western style room with a wonderful view. The food was also excellent—Akaushi roast beef and steak, sashimi, and more—with an all-you-can-drink plan, so we were very satisfied! It was only one night, but we really enjoyed the stargazing walk at night, fireworks, the pool, the massage room, and manga—everything was great. The open-air bath was a bit too bright in the daytime because of the sun, so I’d like some measures for that. I wanted to soak in the open-air bath under the night sky, but I drank too much and fell asleep. The next morning we could even see a sea of clouds—it became a truly wonderful memory!

We stayed in a detached Room. There were four of us, and it was very spacious with a beautiful interior—we were extremely satisfied. From the open-air bath on the 11th floor, we had a panoramic view of Lake Suwa. The meals also included free alcoholic beverages, and the staff were very attentive, so we had a truly wonderful time.
